Why does this work out...
Hello, welcome!
This deck focuses on the big boss gizmeks hiting the field and controlling the board whilst using the fact that the appliancer monsters are machines with equal ATK and DEF. It's meh at best however the shining star of the deck is Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity which allows us to essentially search our deck for any gizmek monster with the same attribute as an opponents monster. Also, appliancer can set up a few good boards with a cool two card combo and, with some changes, can FTK you opponent. This deck plays alot of hand traps too, about 11 including Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity, so ... thats good I suppose???
For the appliancer engine you play:
- 3 Appliancer Socketroll
- 3 Appliancer Copybokkle
- 0 or 2 Appliancer Breakerbuncle
- 1 or 2 Appliancer Celtopus
- 2 Appliancer Laundry Dragon
- 1 Appliancer Propelion
- 1 Appliancer Vacculephant
- 3 Appliancer Electrilyrical World
- 3 Appliancer Reuse
- 1 Appliancer Test or 1 Appliancer Conversion
The applincer stuff allows you to make a 3 (or 4) negate Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess which then can go into a massive Accesscode Talker, or can FTK using some phantom knights cards and Raider's Knight with Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon to punch for 8100 of damage. They also work well with the gizmek cards mostly because they're machines with equal ATK and DEF however what makes them work well with eachother is that Appliancer Socketroll can proc Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity as it summons from the main deck and Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler can also be treated as another 3 copies of Appliancer Socketroll being able to normal summon itself then tributeing it for a machine monster with an equal ATK and DEF which happens to be the stats of an Appliancer Socketroll.
In addition, it's manditory to play:
- 1 Codebreaker Zero Day
- 1 Codebreaker Virus Swordsman
- 1 Codebreaker Virus Berserker
These not only allow us to extend our link plays by being a massive +3 in card economy but can also facilitate a short but, not so, sweet FTK stratagy. Alongside the gizmek cards this could be a very fun control/FTK deck you can play (if you change the ratios to be more consistant with that).
For the gizmeks you play:
- 1 Gizmek Okami, the Dreaded Deluge Dragon
- 1 Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag
- 1 Gizmek Orochi, the Serpentron Sky Slasher
- 3 Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity
- 3 Gizmek Makami, the Ferocious Fanged Fortress
- 3 Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler
These cards do two seperate things depending on what role they have:
-The boss monsters special summon themselvs to the field and break open boards to make way for any FTK stratagies or to annoy your opponent because all their cards are either in the banishment or the GY.
-The other gizmek cards allow us to search our deck for materials we may need or in the case of Gizmek Makami, the Ferocious Fanged Fortress un-banish our previously banished cards (usually by Gizmek Orochi, the Serpentron Sky Slasher) incase it gets destroyed whilst being extra material for any links.
The combo that evrything stems off of is:
[ Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler summon itself > tribute Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler to summon out a Appliancer Socketroll] activate Appliancer Electrilyrical World to add whichever one you don't have ( Appliancer Socketroll or Appliancer Copybokkle) > once you have a Appliancer Socketroll on field, Appliancer Copybokkle effect target Appliancer Socketroll; special summon it with the name of Appliancer Socketroll > Appliancer Socketroll triger; summon another Appliancer Socketroll from deck > link both Appliancer Socketrolls into a Appliancer Celtopus > Appliancer Electrilyrical World will trigger; add a Appliancer Socketroll from your GY to your hand > Appliancer Socketroll can special summon itself since you controll an appliancer monster > link both of the level 1 applinacer monsters into Codebreaker Virus Swordsman, making sure that it's co-linked with Appliancer Celtopus (yes the zones do matter) > since Codebreaker Virus Swordsman is co-linked it can special summon a Codebreaker Zero Day from your deck/hand > link both codebreaker monsters to make Codebreaker Virus Berserker underneath Appliancer Celtopus > Codebreaker Virus Berserker will trigger to summon back both codebreaker monsters to zones link monsters point to>
The most basic line after this is to link all 3 codebreaker cards into a 3 negate Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, however depending on the turn/ what cards you have/ what cards you and your opponent contorls you can make a Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder with 4 materials and land on some gizmek bosses.
Other engines you can play are:
- The phanton knights
- These allow you to FTK using a very small engine taking up only 3 main deck slots and 3 extra deck slots, those cards being:
- The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak
- The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots
- The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine
- The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche
- Raider's Knight
- Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon
- The main combo is:
- Appliancer Socketroll/[Appliancer Socketroll/Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler] + Appliancer Electrilyrical World
[ Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler summon itself > tribute Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler to summon out a Appliancer Socketroll] activate Appliancer Electrilyrical World to add whichever one you don't have ( Appliancer Socketroll or Appliancer Copybokkle) > once you have a Appliancer Socketroll on field, Appliancer Copybokkle effect target Appliancer Socketroll; special summon it with the name of Appliancer Socketroll > Appliancer Socketroll triger; summon another Appliancer Socketroll from deck > link both Appliancer Socketrolls into a Appliancer Celtopus > Appliancer Electrilyrical World will trigger; add a Appliancer Socketroll from your GY to your hand > Appliancer Socketroll can special summon itself since you controll an appliancer monster > link both of the level 1 applinacer monsters into Codebreaker Virus Swordsman, making sure that it's co-linked with Appliancer Celtopus (yes the zones do matter) > since Codebreaker Virus Swordsman is co-linked it can special summon a Codebreaker Zero Day from your deck/hand > link both codebreaker monsters to make Codebreaker Virus Berserker underneath Appliancer Celtopus > Codebreaker Virus Berserker will trigger to summon back both codebreaker monsters to zones link monsters point to > link Appliancer Celtopus and Codebreaker Virus Swordsman into The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche > The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche effect sending The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak to the GY, setting The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine > banish The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak adding The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots > special summon The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots > overlay both The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine and Codebreaker Zero Day for a Raider's Knight > Raider's Knight effect can detatch 1; to stack ontop a Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon > Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon effect detatch 1; blanket negate all monsters on field and make it's ATK the combined ATK of all monster on your side of the field 8100.
-This is a very fun way to surprise your opponent by siding this in game 2 or 3 when your opponent thinks they have your stratagy down.
- predaplants...
- I mean they're dark monsters plus the scales could pundulum summon your Appliancer Socketroll and this does have some cool applications and some powerfull end boards but I don't think this is worth it...
The combo is:
Both predaplant pendulum monsters ( Predaplant Bufolicula and Predaplant Triantis) + an Appliancer Socketroll/ Appliancer Copybokkle + Appliancer Electrilyrical World + a monster discard (omg a 4.5 card combo)
Set the scales with both predaplant monsters > activate Appliancer Electrilyrical World, add the one you don't haveAppliancer Copybokkle effect target Appliancer Socketroll; special summon it with the name of Appliancer Socketroll > Appliancer Socketroll triger; summon another Appliancer Socketroll from deck > link both Appliancer Socketrolls into a Appliancer Celtopus > Appliancer Electrilyrical World will trigger; add a Appliancer Socketroll from your GY to your hand > Appliancer Socketroll can special summon itself since you controll an appliancer monster > link both of the level 1 applinacer monsters into Codebreaker Virus Swordsman, making sure that it's co-linked with Appliancer Celtopus (yes the zones do matter) > since Codebreaker Virus Swordsman is co-linked it can special summon a Codebreaker Zero Day from your deck/hand > link both codebreaker monsters to make Codebreaker Virus Berserker underneath Appliancer Celtopus > Codebreaker Virus Berserker will trigger to summon back both codebreaker monsters to zones link monsters point to > link all the codebreaker monsters into an Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess (mind you this is 10 summons in Nibiru, the Primal Being will allready be on the board) > Predaplant Bufolicula activate it's effect fusioning both the scaled monsters into a Predaplant Ambulomelides > chain the effects of Predaplant Bufolicula, Predaplant Triantis and Predaplant Ambulomelides resolving them doing:
Predaplant Bufolicula: adding Predaplant Triantis to hand
Predaplant Ambulomelides: adding Predaplant Bufolicula to hand
Predaplant Triantis: placing a predator counter on Appliancer Celtopus (use this to chain block)
reset the scales (like a randon fusion appeared on to your field) > Predaplant Ambulomelides tribute itself for a Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio > Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio effect discard a monster; summon a Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra > Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra effect; add a Polymerization to your hand > fusion summon Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon using Predaplant Triantis and Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra (optional MD only > you can then link Appliancer Celtopus and Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio into Predaplant Verte Anaconda and activate that to go into Predaplant Dragostapelia)
This puts up a good board that can interact with your opponent quite a bit also it dosn't use your normal summon effect unlike pure appliancer soooooo... adventure engine anyone? (if you do Thunder Dragon Colossus anyone?.. no. okay then.)
Extra Deck:
It's mainly filled with extra-deck-filler with cards like:
- I:P Masquerena
- Knightmare Unicorn
- Knightmare Phoenix
- Relinquished Anima
- Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess
However the appliancer link-1s can be used to controll the board quite nicely:
- Appliancer Laundry Dragon, when attacked or attacking you can destroy that monster then burn your opponent for it's attack (not co-linked)
- Appliancer Vacculephant, destruction removal + attacking directly
- Appliancer Propelion, make an opponents monster 0 ATK
You can play the others for a more pure build but I feel that they don't work well with the gizmek controll-type stratagy. Also you play the xyz for 2 board wipes with Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder.
Overall this deck can be played in a veriaty of ways and I think that it could be good, emphasis on the could, all that said it's a fun deck to play and feels really rewarding when (more like if) you win against a deck like snake-eye.
Thats all you need to know REMEMBER this isn't the best oronly way to play appliancer so change the deck as you wish and as allways stay safe and have fun (: !
So the Battles of ledgend: Terminal revenge set came out whilst I was writing this and saw people talk about the new Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier card being able to summon out Toadally Awesome. I'm going to do a deck that was verry good against tearlaments and one of my personal favourites ... good ol' melffy spright, see you there.
