The classic ABC deck, featuring ABC Dragon Buster and Cyber Dragon Infinity, polished and ceiling raised.
Sadly we still didn't get an errata for Union Carrier, but we got the Union support from Maze Of The Master, which means Platinum Gadget into Union Controller is doing even more for us, if we can refrain from using anything but LIGHT Extra Deck monsters.
This is obviously the bonkers going first version of the deck, making 6-7 interruptions on turn 1, but honestly it makes it easier for me to sideboard, as many of the over-the-top going first cards are an easy choice to side out for the non engine options when expecting to go second, without damaging the consistency.
You can choose to play 40 cards by cutting the AFD engine, removing Dragon Ravine and Destrudo if you find the discard for Ravine to costy or can't find your non engine pieces. I like the versatility of it, since it allows you access to Hangar and Therion in almost every game. Also the additional Summon from hand from AFD gives you access to a ton of additional bodies (when playing the 2nd Y).
With the new X, Y and Z pieces we can use Galaxy Photon Dragon to search for the Galaxy Soldiers and not miss out on any B triggers. You actually have to keep an eye on your open zones though, since they can easily clog up, blocking access to Infinity or activating the Union monsters equipped with Regulus. The Progleo in the Extra Deck might seem an odd choice, but it is a LIGHT Link 2 with arrows to the sides, so you can keep linking your ABC pieces off after starting with a herald that you might want to keep, and also allows you to recover used Link monsters using the abundance of monsters in the later stages of the game or even mid combo after getting interrupted. It might even sometimes sneakily steal an opponent's Link monster if used cleverly.
I'm not really into competitive play again yet, so the side deck might need some adjusting, but I feel like Dark Ruler and Evenly can help pierce through most boards, especially when accessible through Triple Tactics, although I'm not sure if Lancea is actually more impactful than Droll right now, but that's obviously dependant on the format and local deck distribution.
Either way: ABC is back baby! And I'm stoked to jam them at locals again.
