This is a Zombie Synchro deck inspired by top 16 deck lists from SJC Columbus in 2009. Many lists were either running a large HERO package complete with Stratos, Malicious, and D-Draw or a heavier zombie package that made use of Pyramid Turtle and Mystic Tomato as extra floaters. This list includes the remnants of Tele-DAD combined with all the zombie goodness. In my opinion, D-Draw is just to gimmicky to run even with Stratos. Nearly every monster in this deck is a dark, so Allure of Darkness is great for draw power. Double Foolish Burial (can you believe this card was ever not limited) lets us dump anything to the graveyard, but Mezuki is usually the choice since it can not be sent off of Arma Knight or Dark Grepher. Speaking of Arma Knight and Dark Grepher, they let us get Malicious out of the deck early to prevent a dead draw later. Reinforcement of the Army is included for obvious reasons. Some dark good stuff rounds out the monsters. Notably, I am not including Pyramid Turtle or Mystic Tomato. My reason for doing so is that there are so many ways in the format to get rid of face down monsters without destroying them by battle. 2009-2010 is the absolute heyday for zombie decks, so grab a friend to play retro formats and enjoy the list!
