Temptation Leads to Capture.
This is a beginner-friendly Domain Format list built upon a $11.99 MSRP purchase of the Structure Deck: Beware of Traptrix. It consists of a $20 upgrade of cards purchased from sites like TCGplayer.
(I blame Ragnaraika the Evil Seed for eating HALF THE BUDGET)
Deckmaster: Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown
Domain Restrictions: EARTH // INSECT // PLANT
Made for Domain Format: Join the Community Discord!
To create this upgrade, please remove these 11 cards and any duplicate cards from the SD: Beware of Traptrix (reference the sidedeck):
Note: 2 cards of the included 48-card structure deck will be duplicates

Broad Categories
This simple strategy has cards that fall into three simple categories:
- Trap Disruption
- Boardwipe
- Revival
Reccommend Combo Guide (from Static1220):

What do we want our deckmaster to do? Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown
- Boardwipe
- Prevent monster effects in response to our Spells/Traps
- Self-reviving Beatstick
While Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown can be summoned from GY, we choose to have him as the Deckmaster for the convience of not having to search him out. This is a powerful boss - 3400 ATK alongside a powerful boardwipe makes him immediatly extrodinarly fearsome. Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown provides enormous support for our Traps, allowing them to be activated without fear of negation from our opponent's monsters.
Boardwipe
- Clear Threats!
- Our Traptrix link monsters are unaffected by our own Trap Boardwipes!
We aim to boardwipe, but not lose our own monsters! A way to do this is by having only Traptrix on board, which are unaffected by trap boardwipes, or having only Insect/Plants and using the boardwipe our Deckmaster has (Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown). This transforms what should have been a symetrical effect into one that activly benefits us!
Trap Disruption
- Clear Threats!
- Constant stream of threats due to Traptrix Cularia and Traptrix Sera
Our main access of traps is through Traptrix Sera, easily setting Trap Hole traps when we activate Traptrix monster effects. This constant stream of traps will ensure we can control the board to become non-threatening.
Trap Hole traps for Traptrix Sera , Traptrix Rafflesiaa and Traptrix Genlisea:
Outside of Trap Holes, we utilize recursive traps like Titanocider , Ragnaraika Wisteria of Woe , and Lost Wind. Other traps may be accessed using Trap Tracks or Sales Pitch

Revival
- Use Vernusylph to Return our monsters to the battlefield!
- Low cost to revive Ragnaraika!
- Grind them down!
While we only have single copies of every card, our revivals allow us to use them again and again. We make use of this concept in our choice of side engines Ragnaraika which has a built in revival, and our deckmaster Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown which also has a built in revival. Naturia Camellia also provides an easy way to revive Naturia monsters
In particular, with Vernusylph, Traptrip Garden and Traptrix Holeutea we wish to revive Traptrix Sera since she provides so much value with both her effects every turn we trigger them.
Eventually, our opponents will run out of resources
Good Revival targets:
