Have you thought about making it into a deep draw/stall deck? There are actually some pretty above decent combinations to be made with the deck, but you have so many unrelated cards (excluding their relation to Yugi) that it would be hard to get what you need. A 15 card stall engine might power it up a little bit.

The last three anime series kinda satisfies your wishes.

For 5D’s you have Synchrons played by Yusei which may not be meta, but gives you access to potentially multiple Quasars and Sifr which are a pain to try to play around. Red/Resonator was also introduced at this time with Jack which eventually developed by Arc-V to become a powerful Synchro archetype (though not meta) which is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Aggro decks.

Honorable mention for 5D’s are Blackwings played by Crow which are a rogue archetype which gathered powerful support by the time Arc-V rolled around with the “Assault Blackwing” cards, and can take on meta decks if the match-up is good and if they are played well.

For ZeXaL, you have that Yuma and Astral plays with all the numbers which are very prevalent xyz monsters (namely the Utopia series, Silent Honor ARK, etc.) used in pretty much any xyz summon-based deck. Kaito plays Galaxy-Eyes which, by the time Arc-V rolled around, has become the source of all the powerful Rank 8 plays.

An honorable mention for ZeXaL would be Trains played by Anna which, if mixed with Shaddolls or Kaijus, can take on certain meta decks with considerable success.

Arc-V has given us a lot of meta-related content. Yuya plays Performapals and magicians which are pretty solid and have been meta for a bit. Yuto’s PK is famous for its synergy with Burning Abyss which led to the meta deck called PK Fire. Sora gave us Fluffals which everyone is hyped up for due to the continuous and solid support its getting.

Some honorable mentions for Arc-V would be the Predaplants played by Yuri are getting their necessary support and are becoming more prevalent. Yugo’s Speedroids are fast, though very linear and, outside of having access to Crystal Wing, isn’t very impressive. Reiji plays D/D which is strong enough to take on the meta. Serena plays Lunalights which can take on meta decks, but will have a harder time. Roger and Academia duelists played the new Ancient Gear support which people are messing around with at the moment and seems to be quite strong with considerably solid OTK potential. Shun plays Raidraptors which used to be really popular (and still is pretty popular due to the Last Strix and Ultimate Falcon) and has the strength to take on some meta decks. Some of the old Archetypes got major upgrades as I mentioned before by the time Arc-V rolled around.

The first series also actually works as well. If we consider how Joey’s Red-Eyes got the support they need to take on almost everything except ABC’s, Fluffals, and Treatoad/Toadally Awesome, they are a pretty solid archetype. Yugi’s Dark Magician got a lot of support as well which makes them a pretty decent archetype. Yugi’s Magnet Warriors also got support along with his BLS as well. No need to mention Kaiba’s Blue-Eyes.
