Joey/Jonouchi-kun is my all-time favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! anime character. Unfortunately, I haven’t played Red-Eyes decks or any sort of them even trying once nope. I guess I kinda perceive it has the same flow as how Blue-Eyes decks go and it’s not my style because they’re so popular?!

After watching some of the replays in Youtube, I thought I’d give this one a chance now that it has some cool new support cards. But really I have no idea on how do you play this deck. Kinda list down some combos or the usual basic plays so a beginner like me in this deck can learn. Thanks!

I run a deck very similar to this, but its a definite red eyes deck, the main cards and combos you wanna get out as you can is get your red eyes out on the field Red eyes Dark Flare, and archfiend black skull namely. hit hard hit fast. it feels really good to have a first turn red eyes fusion to get archfiend black skull out then use inferno fire blast with it because the fact that red eyes fusion changes its name to Red eyes B. Dragon. to burn them for a nice and handy 3200 right off the bat. then(correct me if I’m wrong here) because you did damage, you can kick archfiend black skull dragons effect to send the red eyes you used for the fusion to the deck to burn them for another 2400. its a really nasty way of ripping them for a 5600 damage, and if you have one more on that turn you can kick another inferno fireblast for a OTK first turn. dark ullusion is a good card to have in it set to protect your big beatsitck too. since generally if its a red eyes deck youll be mostly running dark attributes, ill probably post my deck on here for people to look at at somepoint, the only thing its missing currently would be a Red eyes darkness dragon. another good strategy is use a red eyes chick and tribute it to summon one red eyes black while you got one in the graveyard and the return of the red eyes sitting in your trap zone, to revive it formt he graveyard and get out your red eyes flare metal, then detach one material to send and target that red eyes you detached to special summon it to the field and proceed to not let up. from what I can see this deck is built to attack fast and attack hard. red eyes wyvern is useful to get into the graveyard to banish it to bring back one of your destroyed red eyes, archfiend black skull dragon or red eyes darkness metal. if oud like me to post my deck ill see about doing it.

i dont think the 2nd effect of archfiend would work after you inferno fire blast since damage calculation is only during the battle phase

These archfiend dragons are doing what on the extra deck?
Other than that, it looks like a good deck to me, I’m going to test it already.

This is possibly because it’s using beta cards such as Red-Eyes Metal Knight Gearfried

He could build a house with all the bricks he would get with this deck

Just add resonator cards to this deck and you’re sorted when it comes to synchro summoning synchro monsters, preferably Red Resonator, Chain Resonator and Synkron Resonator. Also, get rid of Red Eye Zombie Dragon. It’s useless in this deck. No point having him.
