First off, I would like to owe thanks to Konami. Secondly, this deck is very strategic its very own format. Have you players noticed something similar??? No??? If so, good, then if not, I'll explain why this deck is like this. This deck is an turbo for Extra Deck access. If you notice, this format's playstyle is similar to Cyber Dragons but why??? Because Konami claimed Dark Magician and Cyber Dragons are suppose to play in a similar fashion to each other, which makes more sense if you look at both Cyber Dragon cards and DM cards you can see where Konami is correct about their playstyles being the same. For examples, Magicians Rod = Cyber Dragon Core. DM = Cyber Dragon. Nachster = Souls. Galaxy Soldier = Apprentice. Illusion of Chaos = Herz. Chronicle Magician = Vier. BBTaS = Machine Duplication. Timaeus = Overload. Secrets of DM = Power Bond. And etc... That being said, this deck is great. Currently undefeated at 10-0.

First summon Rod to search out Illusion Magic:
    Image

Use Illusion Magic to add two DMs to your hand:
    Image

Then use SoDM to fuse the two DMs into TDMs:
    Image

Now you’ll use Servant to add Souls to the top:
    Image

After that resolves, trigger TDMs effect to draw:
    Image

Now use Souls effect to dump your DMG from your deck to the GY, then summon DM from your GY:
    Image

Then after DM is successfully summoned, you can now trigger the effect of Chronicle Magician:

XyZ both Chronicle and DM into Ebon Illusion, then detach 1 material to summon DM from the deck:
    Image

Then use BBTaS to summon DMG and set 1 card (you can always go for DMA or DBM in any case):
    Image

Also now you can banish Servant to draw 2 cards:
    Image

Use True Name to declare a card (call it right to add it or you can manipulate it as a “Foolish Burial” and call it wrong on purpose, but I took a lucky guess and got it right, which added Secrets to my hand):
    Image

You can either Ritual summon or Fusion summon a card, due to your preferences of your situation:
    Image

And… thats only 1 of the OTK combos. This deck can do so much, very flexible in any match up. Hope you guys enjoy this deck and explore more of these combos. Shout out to Konami!!! Thanks!

You mean the one in your hand that you never summoned in your 5 post tutorial, so you can’t use his effect?

I was not dueling anybody, do you see another deck in the photos??? So why would I do that, IF THIS IS A COMBO TUTORIAL?

Because solitaire yugioh isn’t a thing, especiallywhen claiming that this is an OTK. If you’re spending time and effort coming up with a combo and make a huge post to show it off, you’d think that it it would be somewhat practical in an actual game, but this is just underwhelming.

Yeah because FOUR card recovery, a draw 1, a banish 1, and TWO easy field wipes = underwhelming. Especially all in ONE turn. I would love to see you do better with this exact same list with NO non-DM related cards in the Main Deck. If this is underwhelming, then make me a believer. I’ll wait, we got all year round for your “lists”. Let me know when you do…

    🙂🧐

Last I checked, true name wasn’t a DM card, so not sure why you expect me ro make a deck that consists of nothing but pure DM support, especially when i look at your extra deck. You have inconsistent standards. And the reason I say it’s underwhelming is because assuming your opponent lets you make this unstoppable board, all you did was summon a bunch of beatsticks with only one possible interaction on your opponent’s turn, which is the DBM, and because it’s the only form of disruption you have, you have to time it just right to make sure it’s effective. And your big combo is way too fragile. You literally had to use up every bit of resource uninterrupted to make this board, and at no point did you even consider setting up protection early on to prevent your opponent from stopping you. Your end board might’ve won the game if this was early yugioh, but in today’s format, it’s nothing to brag about. If you don’t believe me, take this list to dueling book and come back with the results.

The True Name only exist because of Dark Magical Circle bricking, plus its a Yami Yugi card also. Then second, I have setup a full FTN board with Norito, Dragoon, Cavalry, AND Illusion of Chaos. All I did here was show case how flexible the deck is, so players wont feel like they dont got multiple options or resources. But to setup that FTN with the board I ended with, youre going to need draw power.

Oh and I did enioy Duelingbook btw:

    It was very fun. 🙂😊

What’s the point of that replay? You weren’t playing this deck and your opponent clearly didn’t know what they were doing, since they could’ve used veiler on you and they bricked hard. Show me this deck against a stronger deck at least (doesn’t have to be meta). Also, here’s a misplay you’ll probably want to remember for next time: you’re not supposed to reveal the three top cards to your opponent from dark magical circle. You only show the one you add, and the rest go back to the top in whatever order you want without your opponent knowing

Oh also if I did show you a DM deck that could change the game, you’d still complain it isnt “good” enough. FTN: Norito, two Dragoons, Illusion of Chaos, and Cavalry board is bonkers. I still got the decklist for it but its going to cost money and a NDA for it. Remind you, its a pure DM deck too. So yeah. I dont give out my real decklist for free. 🤣😂

Ayo if you want to build a DM deck, just copy the Cyber Dragon format since theyre both basically the same thing. The list of cards are help you with the similarities. Inbox me for more DM decklist help!

That’s fine. I know DM doesn’t have enough power to change the game, much less a pure version. So it puts you in the perfect position by hiding this so called top tier deck behind an imaginary paywall that you know no one will pay, cause you can make whatever boast about it you want. And with the new support coming soon, DM does have some potential at being rogue, but to just straight out say that it can change the game is just not realistic, because decks like drytron, tri brigade, and even some of the newer stuff coming up is way more oppressive and more consistent than anything DM can currently do.

Idk, I beaten meta decks in aggressive OTK and control formats with DM before, then some duels I lost to. One thing I do know once Konami gives DM the right 1 card combo Spell cards and more 1 card combo DM main deck monsters, DM would be hard to stop in a duel. The thing about DM that makes it a dangerous deck is: mid-range because its also unpredictable and could go to any format it wants.

I dont know if anybody noticed or even care to notice but the combo tutorial I just shown is a bit similar to the same way Cyber Dragons play except Cyber Dragons got more Extra Deck options and more free summon monsters in the Main Deck, something DM needs in more newer support for OCG/TCG. This is only a standard deck.

Never did I imagine jobe to return. Dude, you’re been banned from this site for this exact behavior. You don’t bother listening and just brag about stuff without evidence, being evasive the second someone calls you out on it.

I don’t know if you’re doing this on purpose but I really did hope I’d see some growth but it seems that’s not the case

To start off with, 5 card combos are SO accessible, especially when you topdeck the nuts and magically call the top card right (certainly not using the don’t shuffle deck feature). The board that you end on is substandard, with an admittedly good boardwipe but that’s it. All you have is lots of reasoably high ATK monsters, which other decks can do way easier, and without needing 5 cards to do it, plus this combo dies to any hand trap ever printed.

I like how you said you liked DuelingBook yet the best replay you had was you summoning 3 monsters that each draw 1 and the opponent scooping. If you’re deck was truly and I quote “Undefeated 10-0” then show us a good replay and USE THE ACTUAL DECK.

Norito, 2 Dragoons etc. is a good board, but I have played Dark magician for the last 3 years and I know that ending on Dragoon two backrow and Circle is next-level (be sure to check out my Dark Magician deck profile on YGOPRODECK). But even assuming that you actually did make that board (which I don’t as if you did then you’d show people the proper decklist) it would be RIDICULOUSLY lucky and inconsistent, it’s like saying “WOW I used 1 card to FTK my opponent with Halqifibrax but I run 12 bricks and only 1 unsearchable starter”.

Like I say I’ve been playing Dark Magician for 3 years and I can tell you they will NEVER give them a truly powerful 1-card combo, as the cards being for Dark Magician or Blue-Eyes already sells them, it’s like saying “I know that with the right support Dark Scorpion will be great”, but the sad truth is that they won’t. Also DM could 100% survive in a backrow hate format…

Dark Magician and Cyber Dragon are not similar in the slightest, Cyber Dragon has 1 to 2 card combos that can absolutely devastate opponents, such as the 1.5 card Cyberdark OTK that plays through Nibiru and runs 1 brick (be sure to see my Cyber Dragon Deck ft. 1.5 Cyberdark Combo on YGOPRODECK), and they have easy access to cards that can break boards such as Megafleet, Rampage and Infinity. The joke wasn’t on them if you were wrong.

To conclude, I think it is awful for putting a clickbait 10-0 title and unrealistic combos/replays on this decklist, while calling it meta-changing but then admitting it is sub-standard. The point of this is to just say PLEASE DON’T PUT THESE CLICKBAIT TITLES ON LOW-ROGUE DECKS.
