The idea behind this deck is to not only give your Mekk-knight monsters some okay going first plays but also to stun out your opponent by using the Trap Hole and Traptrix cards. Any hand that opens with at least 1 Mekk, 1 Traptrix, and 1 spell/trap is capable of creating a somewhat strong opening board.
Going first your best bet is to establish a column by turning any main deck Traptrix monster into Sera and using any spell/trap to create an opening for your Mekk-knights to be summoned. Once you've done most of your Mekk-knight plays, you can either turn any level 4s on the field into a Traptrix Rafflesia or a Time Theif Redoer or using 3 cards to create BLS - Soldier of Chaos. This deck is capable of opening only monsters or only spell/traps, but it is usually a healthy mix of both.
