Kaiju Graydles Structure
Credit to Richiachu Deck Users for Deck submission.
The Graydle archetype solved the problem that the Kaiju archetype has. They allow you to have a first turn play. Luckily, the Kaiju’s also solve the Graydle’s problem. They give you a monster to take control of. These decks go together so well you’d think they were meant to be together all along. Usually, the main point is to take back control of your Kaiju’s rather than letting your opponent control a giant monster. Kaiju’s can tribute the troublesome untargetable monsters and then you can gain their effects for yourself. It’s fairly straightforward. Tribute opponents monster, attack with weaker graydle, control Kaiju, attack for large amount of damage. You can also sit on Gamecel in a pinch or go all out with Thunder King.
Something important to note is our side deck isn\’t like the usual one. Rather than trying to prevent the opponents deck from working, we change our own so their siding is useless. We do this by changing our Graydles in the Yosenju monsters. These compliment the Kaiju\’s perfectly well. You tribute one of the opponents monsters for the Kaiju and then you can use Yosenju Kama 1 to bounce it back to your hand, all while your opponent will have sided against your Graydles.
|Stolen Pendulum monsters + Graydle Slime||Results in Ignister Prominence, which is a very powerful card when fighting pendulum deck.|
|Interrupted Kaiju Slumber + Grayju Alligator||Allows you to take control of the opponents summoned Kaiju (which is then destroyed since you can control only one), allowing you to attack freely.|
|Oasis of Dragon Souls + Graydle Slime||Allows you to summon Baxia, which is a powerful monster for the graydles to use.
Scrap Dragon + Graydle Eagle is essentially a free destruction and snatch steal.
