This is an Unchained Kaiju deck I cooked up. Given how Unchained's entire gimmick is getting your own cards blown up, I thought it would work well with a Kaiju engine. Your goal is to go second, 100% of the time. Interrupted Kaiju Slumber can be used to give you a strong Kaiju while giving your opponent a weaker one, while also destroying your Unchained monsters and summoning more of them from the deck.

After doing the above combo, you can summon Unchained Soul of Disaster or Rage, and use their effects to get rid of the opponent's Kaiju and do a Link Summon. I just named this deck "GODZIRRA!" because I could not think of any better names. If anyone here has better ideas on what to name this deck, let me know in the comments.

A sovereign head of state, especially a king, queen, or emperor. That is the definition you get if you look up Monarch. Yu-Gi-Oh is familiar with their own Monarchs, and we can safely say that definition holds true for them. Monarchs are a group of monsters that debuted at the tail-end of Duel Monsters and beginning of GX. Since then, they have given us some of the most powerful tribute monsters in the game. In this series, I will go over the history of Monarchs to see their impact on the competitive Yu-Gi-Oh scene. We’ll analyze each Monarch separately and look at some Decks known for their focus on these powerful cards.
