Galaxy-Eyes Deck (New Support)

This updated Galaxy-Eyes deck is mainly for bringing out Xyz monsters, such as Galaxy-Eyes Photon lord and Cyber Dragon Infinity, which can distrupt on your opponents turn.

Note: This is almost identical to my "Pure Galaxy-Eyes Deck (Post October 2019 Banlist)" deck profile (which yo can find on my profile). This will be an update to it and will mostly focus on the changes that's I've made.

  • Main Deck(Monsters) -
    • Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon(x3)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy Knight(x2)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy Soldier(x3)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy Wizard FROM (x3) TO (x1)
      • This card wasn't a strong normal summon. It usually got in the way of Galaxy Knight. I run x1 due to it being able brick-y. I should be used as discard material or if you know you wont normal summon on the turn (very unlikely) or it's your only normal summon, the use it. Its effect, allowing it to be level 8, helps Galaxy Expedition. If you have a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon in the GY, via a Trade-In discard or The Melody of Awakening Dragon Discard, then you can use Galaxy Wizard to search Galaxy Trance and combo from there. Overall, I wouldn't run more than 2 at most.
    • Photon Orbital(x3)
      • No change
    • Photon Vanisher(x3)
      • No Change

  • Main Deck Additions and Removals(Monsters) -
    • Additions -
      • Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon(x3)
        • A wonderful card. It's pretty much a free special summon; it allows Trade-in and The Melody of Awakening Dragon to be more power. Its effects it great for Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon and Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon.
      • Photon Thrasher(x2)
        • Pretty much replaced the x2 copies of Galaxy Wizard. It's a "Photon" monster, therefore it works well with Starliege Lord Galaxion. Also a free special summon. It's only at x2 because it's terrible if you get x2 in your hand or draw it for your 6th card, via Trade-In or form the Draw Phase.
      • Photon Advancer(x2)
        • A better version, most of the times, because you can actually normal summon it. Can be a free special summon, because you do x14 "Photon" monsters including (Photon Sanctuary). Great for RANK 4 summons or Link summons
      • Galaxy Brave(x2)
        • This deck runs more "Photon" monsters, therefore running this for free special summons.
    • Removals -
      • None

Main Deck(Spells/Traps) -

  • Galaxy Expedition(x3)
    • No changes
  • Galaxy Trance(x2)
    • No changes
  • Photon Sanctuary(x3)
    • A free Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon, allowing you to summon more XYZ monsters from the Extra Deck
  • Return Of The Dragon Lords FROM (x3) TO (x2)
    • Running 6 dragons and only having x2 is fine. This card provides protection but I feel like running x3 would be too much. You want to see cards that you can do something with instantly or cards that done need a setup.
  • Trade-In(x3)
    • No changes

  • Main Deck Additions and Removals(Spells/Traps) -
    • Additions -
      • The Melody of Awakening Dragon(x2)
        • You can add Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon. Just discard another copy of the Galaxy-Eyes Dragons or a Galaxy Wizard. x2 is perfect.
    • Removals -
      • Monster reborn FROM (x1) TO (x0)
        • It didn't do anything at the moment and was mainly used to discard things as you can do better plays without it rather than using it.
      • Called By The Grave FROM (x3) TO (x0)
        • This deck can play through hand traps pretty well because of thr free special summons. This card should be in the side deck if you really want it.
      • Galaxy Zero FROM (x1) TO (x0)
        • Same story with Monster reborn
      • Tachyon Transmigration (x3) TO (x0)
        • The deck needs more space for more useful cards which actually confirm that you'll get a board with 2 or more negates.

  • Extra Deck
    • Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord(x2)
      • No changes
    • Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy(x1)
      • No changes
    • Number 97: Draglubion(x1)
      • No changes
    • Cyber Dragon Nova(x1)
      • No changes
    • Cyber Dragon Infinity(x1)
      • No changes
    • Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon(x2)
      • No changes

  • Extra Deck Additions and Removals -
    • Additions -
      • Starliege Lord Galaxion(x1)
        • Running level 4 "Photon" monsters. This is perfect.
      • Starliege Photon Blade Dragon(x1)
        • Not used as much but great for certain conditions and protection.
    • Removals -
      • Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand FROM (x1) TO (x0)
        • Didn't use it.
      • Thunder End Dragon FROM (x1) TO (x0)
        • This card was a place holder for any card you wanted to place instead. I just filled Starliege Photon Blade Dragon as a recommendation.

  • Side Deck
    • Personally, I think you should make it yourself. Side decks depend on the meta.

Please tell me if I should change the format that I use to explain the deck and how I can improve it.

You put a lot of effort into describing your deck and card choices. Well done!
