With the new fiend smith engine practically garunteeing Beatrice's ban I thought it would be a good idea to make an update to my favorite pet deck and prepare for the inevitable.
For the uninitiated, this deck revolves around using the P.U.N.K engine to mill a ton of zombies into the grave and then beat your opponent through the grind game or savy link/synchro plays. The one card combo is Ze-Amin or Emergency teleport, we use it and follow a shortened P.U.N.K line until you land on Jam Dragon, Ze-Amin, and Psychic tracker. from there you make Immortal dragon and send ghost sleeper to grave and grab ghost fusion. Next you use ghost fusion to make garura using immortal dragon and Changshi Spiridao, banishing Changshi. Changs effect will allow you to banish immortal or a zombie you discarded for the punks and then you dump mezuki off changshi. This leaves you with two level six monsters and the ability to mezuki for foxy tune (provided you have zombie world) or any of the other level 8's in the deck. This let's you make Pilgrim Reaper to mill 5 and The Zombie Vampire to mill 4 and special summon. From that position the world is your oister. You usually want to dump garura for the draw and if you're playing with the tearlaments package (more on that later) it can set you up for dragstapelia, though it is worth noting that changshi doesn't get shuffled back into the deck when sent as XYZ material.
Talking numbers, it may seem odd to run multiple copies of balerdroc, zombie world, and necroworld banshee, but from my experience it helps protect yourself against bystials or having your zombie world destroyed. If you hard open them, as long as you have Ze-Amin you can just discard them for cost and be in the clear.
The extra deck I made has cards I personally like using in this strategy for some unique forms of interaction, but I have also included more generic/ out there options in the side deck. My favorite interaction chain is using Zombie Dragon Lord to revive the Yuki-onna link 3 to have an on summon negate and then using her (once she bites the dust) to summon Skeletal Felgrand dragon for a banish and maybe a monster negate if it comes up.
The side deck has a lot of interesting cards in it. The tear engine are kinda iffy as the deck isn't really built for drawing them (except sheiren), but they can be used to make dragstapelia if you want another monster negate. Necro dragon and Dragnecro are both fun cards that you can mess around with in a more casual enviornment, especially Necro dragon as it can get really big. There is the option of making Draglubion instead of the zombie vampire or making it later and going into number 92, but I'm not the biggest fan of this line. Zealantis is nice for triggering the on summon effects of yuki-onna 3 or Skeletal Felgrand on your turn and otking your opponent once you're done sitting on Yuki-onna link 4. Small World is a card I would highly consider running in the deck as an extra piece of consistancy. There's plenty of ways to bridge to Ze-Amin using it in the deck, but it has a hefty cost.
Overall, this is a much weaker version of the beatrice deck, but also a more fun one in my opinion. It has lots of fun interaction on your opponents turn and it's always a good time milling 1/4th of your deck in two moves. The only downside is that it is a one card combo deck and if that one card gets stopped then you can't really play, but even with that issue it's still my favorite deck by a country mile. Of course the fiend smith engine would help this deck a lot, but it's pretty expensive (ironic coming from the guy that put S:P into the main) and I wanted to build something more affordable than that.
Thanks for reading.
