I loved Zombie Madness when I was a kid, and I wanted to recreate the feeling of beating into your opponent with big beatsticks like back then with Vampire Genesis. This time, however, the boss monster is Endless Decay. This guy takes half of your opponent's current life points as its ATK points, but even better, it can be Special and Normal Summoned with relative ease. For example, here's some plays you can do:
Discard Mezuki and Endless Decay from an opponent's Hand Destruction, then use Mezuki's effect to Special Summon Endless Decay, activating his ability
Special Summon Endless Decay from the GY with Book of Life or Monster Reborn
Special Summon from the Deck with Pyramid Turtle's ability
Special Summon with Call of the Mummy
Normal Summon with just one tribute
...and more!
This deck includes some dead draw cards like Mage Power and Axe of Despair, but in all honesty I don't tend to brick with this deck. You consistently get Endless Decay out without much of a hitch. Even if you have an opponent with backrow destruction, it doesn't really matter. Mezuki and Pyramid Turtle do just fine.
Get Endless Decay out as soon as possible, best if they have 8000 LP. Since it takes half of your opponent's LP as its ATK, you really need to rush Endless Decay. It isn't too much of a problem, but still- there have been times when I didn't have a solid win condition because I couldn't get it out fast enough.
I sideboarded Nobleman of Crossout because it was a decent enough card to keep but not always the best draw to have and Hand Destruction for the discard and draw 2. Twin Twisters would probably be better than MST, but for the sake of Zombie Madness I wanted to keep it as close to the original deck (and as close to the original idea of the deck- getting huge beatsticks for massive damage) as possible.
The Extra Deck could use some work, but for now it works. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
