Other ideas for Zenet decks (e.g. Pumpking hybrid) played a lot of extra bricks that the deck cannot really afford too. So instead this version has the Striker cards to get to Cyberse Contract Witch, granting full combo without the Normal Summon and a total of twelve or more starters. If you already have full combo, then you can just use the Striker cards to add either Amatsu or Little Knight to the endboard.
A lot of Spells are played to facilitate the effect of Witch, though non-engine will of course vary based on personal preference and format. The Primite spells are useful to add an extra disruption and Normal body at the end of your turn.
You never want to see Amenhotep over Nefertari, but he can be summoned as an extender with your one copy of Journey Back to the Light after you have summoned your Fusion treated as a Normal, giving you access to both of the played Traps.
Harmonia and Dragon Core Hexer can allow for access to Level 11/12 Synchro monsters with Nefertari if the game goes on long enough.
The Pyramid of Kepher is also a powerful card in the deck, especially when going second; where it should be run at three instead of Traps.
The side deck here just shows other options: the brickier Zenet cards can be played, but currently don't have much value. Nekhbet is probably the most useful if a grindy game is anticipated since it can retrieve cards, while Am Duazenet is the weakest of the three traps (and thus the one you are least likely to search and set), so is cut just to avoid bricking on it. Doomed Dragon is just an Extra option since you could summon it with the Normal equips. Journey Back to the Light could also be used in order to summon Sanwitch to go into DMoD and get either Gaze of Timaeus for Dragoon or Souls to draw, though either search would mean running an extra brick, Cosmo Queen in the case of Souls; though if you choose to do this you get to run three copies of Back to the Light as it becomes a starter.
The other cards in the side deck are ones you should play in formats where they are legal: Arc Light acting as an extra starter off Harmonia, and BLS (the Normal version - which cannot be displayed here, so the image is of the Ritual instead as a placeholder) is a better Normal monster than Blue-Eyes since it cannot be Bystial'd and is harder to Super Poly.
