This is a sample version of a yosenju trap with a (somewhat) modern build.
I suggest you to adjust the side deck, i'm giving options of engines that you can choose. You can use any kaijus, Triple Tactics Talent, some hand traps, backrow removal, anything you like, as long as it isn't something that will lock YOU out.
If you don't wanna play Dogmatika, you'll have free slots on 4 cards in the extra deck. ( Paleozoic Cambroraster, PSY-Framelord Omega, Garura, and N'tss )
The good thing in this deck is that you can use most floodgates, for example: Lose 1 Turn, Rivalry of Warlords, Gozen Match.
Skill Drain is a real problem, like any other monster negate. You can run spell/trap removal like Cosmic Cyclone, Heavy Storm Duster, Harpie's Feather Duster.
At the start of your turn you will mostly have only set cards, except when any Yosenju effect is negated at the end phase or if you already activated Tenki. Knowing this fact, it is really interesting to play Lightning Storm... as many as you can afford!!
The thing about this deck is that you can pass with no monsters on your side of the field, make that into your advantage. You can do a godly removal with Drowning Mirror Force or even do double bounces with Yosenjus' Sword Sting. Those are the two obvious picks for this deck, but make sure they will stay until the best moment to utilise them, that's when you'll need to have Lord of the Heavenly Prison revealed in your hand, protecting these cards of being destroyed.
As the new december 2022 banlist releases, now you can play up to 3 copies of Dimensional Fissure or even use 3 of Macro Cosmos, you can use what you prefer. Banning your own spell/traps won't make a difference, but personally a continuous spell is more convenient to me, even if it banishes only monsters (including pendulum scales).
Talking about graveyard control, you could even side Necrovalley, it will lock the Ishizu shufflers and Tearlaments fusion effects. It covers most weak points that Abyss Dweller doesn't affect, such as Spright Elf!
The ratio of Yosenju Izna and Yosenju Tsujik, is pretty much variable based of consistency or purely metacall, to ensure they won't imperm you during the normal summon string. Now that you can play with 3 copies of Fire Formation - Tenki, the third Yosenju Izna is not that much important to hold the deck consistency, as you can add it with Fire Formation - Tenki anyways.
I also have a similar build that I made on Master Duel, keep in mind that the video is not avaliable in English, but you can still get the decklist as an example of Yosenju Trap.
