Yosenju's on your turn Melffy's on there's. archetypes complements each other well.
Instead of using Battle fader and the like to protect life on opponents turn you use Melffys and Yosenju Oyam to keep your life safe. So, you can then do it all over again next turn.
Turns looks like this
Summon Yosenjus to do their things
End turn Yosenjus back to hand first, then Melffy’s to field.
Melffy Dog, into Cat, cat in to Oyam. Oyam to field in def walling for a turn.
Now you have Oyam to ram into a monster to search and do your Yosenjus again.
Repeat as needed

Link Apple: Yosenjus needs draw power and Link apple is an upstart in the deck. And with doubles and triples in the extra deck losing one or two is not a big deal.
Draw Muscle: can be used with any melffy to stall their battle phase or just draw 1 card.
