Power: Low Rogue (6.8/10) - Current TCG-legal and Link Evolution friendly. It keeps Yami Yugi's Wasteland identity as Triamid Rock field-spell control, but drops from High Rogue because Block Dragon and Abyss Dweller are forbidden. It still has real play through Guardian, Pulse, Rank 4 tools, and side-deck breakers.
Consistency: Good. Cruiser, Terraforming, Metaverse, Hunter, Master, Doki Doki, Gallant Granite, and Pot of Desires find the engine. Hands without a Triamid plus field spell can be slower, so sequence Desires after checking one-of needs.
Ceiling: Moderate. Best boards are field spell plus Koa'ki Meiru Guardian, Pulse, or Impermanence, then Bagooska, Gallant Granite, Exciton Knight, Tornado Dragon, Utopia the Lightning, or Borrelsword when bodies line up.
Recovery: Solid. Dancer recycles and buffs, Pulse revives or recycles Rock/Triamid cards, Monster Reborn and Emeral restore threats, and Aussa/Missus convert EARTH bodies into follow-up.
Going first/second: Best going first, setting field spell, Guardian, Pulse, Impermanence, Bagooska, or Called. Going second uses Feather Duster, Exciton, Tornado, Lightning, Borrelsword, Evenly, Dark Ruler, Nibiru, Cosmic, Lancea, and Droll.
Choke points: Remove the active field spell, stop Master or Doki Doki, bait Guardian before key monster effects, banish Pulse targets, or stop Gallant Granite from finding the missing Rock.
Key cards: Triamid Sphinx, Hunter, Dancer, Master, Cruiser, Fortress, Kingolem, Pulse, Koa'ki Meiru Guardian, Doki Doki, Gallant Granite, Bagooska, Exciton, Impermanence, Metaverse.
Key combos: Triamid monsters tag field spells on the opponent's turn. Cruiser plus Hunter fixes and extends. Doki Doki turns spare Rock cards into Triamid or Guardian. Guardian protects the setup. Pulse banishes spent Rock/Triamid cards to pop, revive, or recycle. Rank 4 bodies become Bagooska, Exciton, Lightning, or Borrelsword pressure.
