Yami Marik: Paleozoic / Winged Dragon of Ra (LOTD:LE)

This deck was made based on Winged Dragon of Ra, the Egyptian god.

This card's first owner was Marik Ishtar, a gravekeeper of Pharaoh's tomb whose was sucked by the darkness of the Millennium Rod, turning him into Yami Marik the "Rare Hunter".

As you know Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution doesn't have the great support of Divine-Beasts nor the Ra itself. But Ra is an even stronger GOD than the other 2, because of the Sphere Mode.

In this deck you can make use of Sphere Mode but you can summon Ra even with normal tributing. There are many cards that let you summon multiple monsters while there are many cards to control the board with the help of paleozoics. "The first Monarch" can be treated as 2 monsters when tributed, to make the summoning easier. Most paleozoic decks exceed the 40 cards limit for consistency (to 60 cards main deck) by adding "Needlebug nest" and many other useless paleozoics. But this isn't just a Paleozoic deck, it's made for summoning Ra and we don't want to discard Ra cards randomly...

The idea came from the card "Metal Reflect Slime" which is a trap card treated as a monster. While "Mother Grizzly" can search "Deep Diver", which is able to search for every possible monster card, something that is so difficult for other cards (cause Ra and Slifer doesn't have ATK, they have ???? or even XXXX).

"Shining angel" can search for "Junk collector" and if you have "elemental burst" in grave you can wype the opponent's board.

You don't have to use Extra Deck cards that much, but these might be good in crucial moments and situations. In the side deck you can find even more good options that can work with the main deck if you want to try and build something better. I hope you liked it!
