The Deck runs Three Primary goals: Hand loop, Lock Down, and OTK. The ratio still need work, and honestly the weakness is obvious once you play it, but it still runs pretty well in this format.
A few highlights
Card Destruction + Cat + Ayers gives you a free summon on cat and leaves a normal summon and +2 draw -2 cards, good for bad hands or even a good hand with a rag in grave and +2 can give you a higher chance faultroll and maybe lucky*2 faultroll
Tensu/Tenkai Combo is amazing for this deck. Rag in hand and Boggart + 1 monsters (Cat/Monk) give you normal + Boggart Normal so you hit +2 Monster, +2 Cat, Needle -1 leaving you Boggart, Nat Beast, Boggart + Needle = link 3 going to Apollousa allowing for Magic negate and Monster effect negate.
Hand loop 1 Faul/Cat/Tensu/Rag (This one is a harder one to pull off due to the combo needed) (You can also play off 1 Faul/Cat/Reborn(Runs a lot in this deck) but you can get all 5 first turn
There a lot you can do, but as you've noticed the Cat/Monk is the biggest weakness overall.
