It has been a while, but I am just swamped with work this semester. But I was on break and watched YCS Houston, so I wanted to tinker with some more Prediction Princess after the banlist reveal. This Deck here is White Forest Prediction Princess. White Forest does not have a Level 9 monster for me to experiment with, but it is a pretty competent engine for accessing Extra Deck plays. Specifically, I was going back to trying to make Prediction Princess with an Altergeist engine work due to Altergeist Marionetter, Altergeist Malwisp, and Altergeist Silquitous functionally being able to get you to Ib the World Chalice Justiciar to search for World Legacy Monstrosity and then getting you to a Level 9 Synchro as a target on field for Monstrosity. More or less, I figured out that Malwisp could be played in White Forest, but it never really worked when I tried it out previously until Elzette, Azamina of the White Forest was released. If anything, the new Elzette gave the third body necessary on field to give the Deck access to Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment as the Level 9 on field for Monstrosity. The biggest issue I had with this Deck was balancing the amount of monsters and Spell/Traps in order to ensure that I draw 1 or 2 Spell/Traps necessary to pay the cost for the White Forest monster effects.
Full combo is either Astellar of the White Forest and a Spell/Trap or Elzette of the White Forest and 2 Spell/Traps. I will be going through the Elzette combo because it is the same as starting with Astellar, but it has some slightly different plays that we could go through with (but it is mostly the same). Activate Elzette, sending a Spell/Trap from hand to GY. Special Summon Elzette from hand and search for Astellar. Normal Summon Astellar and activate her effect, sending a Spell/Trap from hand to GY, to Special Summon Silvy of the White Forest from Deck. Silvy triggers on Special Summon to search for Tales of the White Forest from Deck. Synchro Silvy and Astellar into Rciela, Sinister Soul of the White Forest. Rciela activates on Special Summon, sending Tales of the White Forest to GY, to search for Altergeist Malwisp. Then, Chain Link 1 Tales of the White Forest in GY, Chain Link 2 Astellar in GY, and Chain Link 3 Malwisp in hand. Malwisp Special Summons itself from hand because it was added from Deck to hand except by drawing it, Astellar Special Summons herself because a Spell/Trap is sent to your GY to activate a monster effect, and set Tales of the White Forest from GY because it was sent to the GY to activate a monster effect. Activate Tales to add Elzette, Azamina of the White Forest from Deck to hand. Synchro Malwisp and Astellar into Ib the World Chalice Justiciar who adds World Legacy Monstrosity from Deck to hand. Now, if you started your combo with Elzette, Elzette will still be on field as your third monster, which means that we do not need to Special Summon Azamina Elzette from hand if you do not want. If you started with Astellar, you will only have Rciela and Ib, so you need to Special Summon Azamina Elzette for your third monster. But let’s say that a Spell/Trap you sent to GY earlier was like an important card like Infinite Impermanence for interruption. Well, Special Summon the Azamina Elzette from hand and Synchro it and Rciela into Diabelle, Queen of the White Forest who targets and adds back a Spell/Trap from GY to hand since it used a Tuner Synchro Monster as material. Azamina Elzette also triggers in GY to add Sinful Spoils of the White Forest from Deck to hand. If you started with Elzette, you still have 3 monsters on field, but if you started with Astellar, you only have 2 monsters on field at this time, so activate Silvy in GY to shuffle Rciela in GY back into the Extra Deck to Special Summon herself for your third body. Now, banish 3 monsters on your field with different names (Diabelle, Ib, and Elzette if you started with Elzette or Diabelle, Ib, and Silvy if you started with Astellar) to Special Summon Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment from your Extra Deck. Target it with Monstrosity to Special Summon Prediction Princess Bibliomuse and Deus-X Krawler from Deck, Xyz Deus-X and Trish into Mereologic Aggregator in your EMZ who sends Herald of the Arc Light from Extra Deck to GY on Xyz Summon. Herald then searches for a Prediction Princess Tarotrei or a Ritual Spell. Aggregator detach 1 to reattach Herald from GY. Now, if you started with Elzette, you still have the Silvy in your GY that you can Special Summon. You can Special Summon her and Link her and Aggregator into S:P Little Knight for interruption and to trigger Herald again for another Ritual search. Or, you can Special Summon her and keep her on field for a reason I will later explain, but this means that you need to Link Aggregator into Gravity Controller to trigger Herald. You know the rest of the Prediction Princess combo, as it is pretty much the same for all of my Prediction Princess Decks: Ritual Summon Tarotrei with Bibliomuse, Special Summon Bibliomuse from GY face-down, flip her up with Tarotrei and search for Underworld Ritual of Prediction and Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and then Ritual Summon Tarotreith face-down using Bibliomuse. Now, if you did not use Silvy to make S:P, you can keep her on field and set Sinful Spoils of the White Forest to use it to Fusion Summon Guardian Chimera on your opponent’s turn because you control a Spellcaster monster. End Phase, Tarotrei Special Summons Deus-X from GY face-down and Underworld Ritual Special Summons another Bibliomuse from Deck face-down during the next Standby Phase.
For the Main Deck Monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei can Quick Effect flip a monster on field face-up or face-down and she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down during your End Phase. Tarotreith must either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei's effect in the End Phase. Her Flip Effect Special Summons a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can also Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back face-down after being Tributed and sent there. Her Flip Effect adds a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand and while she is face-up on the field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s card effects. 1 Deus-X Krawler which negates all activated monster effects on your opponent's side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute. 1 Pot of the Forbidden which has a Flip Effect that lets you choose between Drawing 2 cards, returning all Spell/Traps on the field to the hand, destroying all monsters your opponent controls, or looking at your opponent's hand and shuffling a card from it back into the Deck. For the White Forest monsters: 3 Elzette of the White Forest, 1 Elzette, Azamina of the White Forest, 3 Astellar of the White Forest, 1 Silvy of the White Forest, and 1 Rucia of the White Forest. We are only using Elzette for her first effect which is to send 1 Spell/Trap from your hand or field to the GY to Special Summon her from your hand and then search for a White Forest monster from Deck. Almost 100% of the time, you are searching Astellar with Elzette. Rarely are you going to be searching for a different White Forest monster, and if you do, it really depends on what you opened. Azamina Elzette is pretty much just an extender who can reveal herself in hand to Special Summon a White Forest or Azamina monster from hand. The only other effect of her’s that we are using is her third effect which is when she is sent to the GY as Synchro Material, you can search for a Sinful Spoils card from your Deck. This only searches for Sinful Spoils of the White Forest in this Deck. Astellar can send a Spell/Trap from hand or field eto GY to Special Summon a LIGHT Spellcaster Tuner from Deck and if a Spell/Trap is sent to your GY to activate a monster effect while she is in your GY, you can Special Summon her from GY. Most White Forest Decks don’t play Astellar because she is just a walking target for handtraps, but we really need to use her since Normal Summoning Silvy is not full combo as it is in some other White Forest Decks. Silvy and Rucia both can Quick Effect target a White Forest Synchro Monster you control or in your GY to return that monster to the Extra Deck and Special Summon themselves from GY with their effects negated. Silvy searches for a White Forest Spell/Trap on Normal or Special Summon while Rucia can Special Summon herself from your hand if you control a White Forest monster. Since Normal Summoning Silvy is not full combo, we do not need to max out on her, but we do need to ensure that we have a Level 4 LIGHT Spellcaster Tuner in Deck, which is why we are playing the 1 Rucia, who has application for being able to basically Summon herself form hand for pretty much free. 1 Altergeist Malwisp which Special Summons itself from hand if it was added to hand except by drawing it. It’s a Level 3 LIGHT Spellcaster Tuner which we can search and Summon for free which gets us to Ib. For handtraps: 3 Nibiru, the Primal Being, 2 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, and 3 Droll & Lock Bird. I would be playing more Spell/Trap non-engine, but Triple Tactics was just limited and we need the handtraps to bridge with Small World.
Pre-Preparation of Rites which searches for a Ritual Spell from Deck and a Ritual Monster from Deck or GY whose name is mentioned on that card. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which can Ritual Summon a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY face-up or face-down and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess monster from Deck face-down. 2 Prediction Ritual which can only Ritual Summon Prediction Princess Tarotrei, and you can banish it from GY except the turn it was sent there to search for a Prediction Princess monster. 1 World Legacy Monstrosity which can either Special Summon a Level 9 monster from your hand or target a Level 9 monster you control to Special Summon 2 Level 9 monsters from your Deck with a different type and Attribute, but with different names. 1 Called by the Grave and 1 Triple Tactics Talent. 3 Small World. 1 Tales of the White Forest and 1 Sinful Spoils of the White Forest. Both can set themselves if they are sent to GY to activate a monster effect. Tales searches for a White Forest monster if you control an Illusion or Spellcaster monster. Sinful Spoils of the White Forest either Special Summons a Fiend, Illusion, or Spellcaster from hand or Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster from Extra Deck using monsters from your hand or field with both effects requiring you to control a Fiend, Illusion, or Spellcaster monster. 3 Infinite Impermanence. 1 World Legacy Awakens. This card is searchable off of Ib if you already drew Monstrosity and it allows you to immediately Link Summon a Link Monster using monsters you control as material. This can get you to S:P Little Knight, Dyna Mondo, or Knightmare Unicorn, all of which we are playing and they all give you some form of interruption. Specifically, Link Summoning into Unicorn puts a Fiend on field which allows you to use Sinful Spoils of the White Forest to Fusion Summon into Guardian Chimera on your opponent’s turn if you want.
Extra Deck: 1 Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment. 1 Guardian Chimera which requires 3 monsters with different names from hand and/or field (at least 1 from each) as Fusion Material. If it is Fusion Summoned by a Spell Card or effect, you can draw cards equal to the number of materials used from hand and pop cards your opponent controls equal to the number of materials used from field. It’s also a Level 9 which can help with going into Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows on your following turn. 1 Diabelle, Queen of the White Forest which we are only using to add back a Spell/Trap from GY which may be an important card that we previously sent to GY as cost for our White Forest monsters’ effects. We can’t really use her as interruption because she’s not sticking around on field that often, and even if she does, we may not have the board space for her to Special Summon a monster with her effect for interruption. 1 Rciela, Sinister Soul of the White Forest which we are only using for her effect on Special Summon which sends a Spell/Trap from hand or field to GY to search for a White Forest card or a LIGHT Spellcaster monster from Deck. 1 Ib the World Chalice Justiciar which searches for a World Legacy card on Synchro Summon. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which adds a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand if it is sent to the GY. 2 Mereologic Aggregator. 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. 1 Knightmare Unicorn and 1 S:P Little Knight. 1 Dyna Mondo which is a LInk-2 which requires 2 monsters including a Ritual Monster and on Special Summon, you can target a card on field and Ritual Monster in your GY and shuffle both into the Deck. During your opponent’s turn, you can also Quick Effect Tribute it to target and either add to hand or Special Summon a Ritual Monster from your GY. 1 Gravity Controller. During testing, ZEUS never came up and TY-PHON would’ve lost me the game if I ever summoned it, which is why I am not playing them. If you want my opinion on K9 - EX “Werewolf” as a Rank 9 option, it is not as good as Infinitrack Earth Slicer as a going second card because its effect is reactive while Earth Slicer, even if it is not a Quick Effect, it still clears more of the board than Werewolf can, but it does deal with the GY which can come up in specific scenarios. But Laevateinn still is much better than both, going first and second.
Side Deck: 3 Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit, 2 Effect Veiler, 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster, 2 Lightning Storm, 1 Crossout Designator, 3 Dark Ruler No More, and 3 Solemn Judgment.
