"Evil Eye" recieved some excellent support last year from PHHY (Photon Hypernova), in Basiltrice, Familiar of the Evil Eye, a familiar that can summon itself from hand or grave, and can quick effect link summon, similar to I:P Masquerena, as well as Evil Eyes Unleashed, which can act as both a Foolish Burial and a Foolish Burial Goods for Evil Eye cards as cost to add an Evil Eye Equip Spell from your deck to your hand, the best targets to dump with Unleashed are the aforementioned Basiltrice for the monster, and Evil Eye of Selene, which can set itself from the GY, allowing you to freely add a copy of Evil Eye of Gorgoneio, or another copy of Selene if you already have Gorgoneio.
The "Runick" cards work amazing as an engine in other archetypes, and this deck is no exception. The stellar removal and utility these cards provide builds off of the Control and Protect style the Evil Eyes want to accomplish very well, and while attacking for game becomes a little more difficult, I would say that the pros are worth the cons.
