"P.U.N.K." is an archetype known for its powerful Synchro plays, and for abusing the now banned Crystron Halqifibrax, but was elevated to tiered status after they recieved their 2nd and 3rd waves of support in DIFO (Dimension Force) and POTE (Power of the Elements), which gave the deck Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note and P.U.N.K. JAM Dragon Drive, respectively. The main play of this deck is either Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin to add Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune and discard to summon a P.U.N.K. like Deer Note from your deck or Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Sharakusai + any other P.U.N.K. to Fusion Summon Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Rising Carp and summon 2 P.U.N.K.s from your deck, like a Level 3 and Deer Note.
The P.U.N.K. monsters all have very powerful effects, such as the Level 3s, Ze Amin, Gagaku-P.U.N.K. Wa Gon, and Joruri-P.U.N.K. Madame Spider can add a P.U.N.K. monster, spell, or trap, respectively from your deck to your hand, including Sharakusai has an ignition effect to Fusion Summon a P.U.N.K. monster and a quick effect on your opponent's turn to Synchro Summon a P.U.N.K. monster, the Level 5, as well as Deer Note, who can summon itself or another P.U.N.K. from hand, and if sent from field to the grave reborns another P.U.N.K., and lastly, the Level 8s, Foxy Tune and Noh-P.U.N.K. Ogre Dance, which can summon a P.U.N.K. with a different level from your deck, or add a P.U.N.K. with a different level from your deck to your hand.
The archetype also has some very strong spells and traps too, as the Field Spell, P.U.N.K. JAM Extreme Session, can summon a bricked P.U.N.K. from your hand and draw you up to 2 cards a turn, as well as Joruri-P.U.N.K. Dangerous Gabu, which is a searchable Infinite Impermanence that can also gain you LP, and Joruri-P.U.N.K. Nashiwari Surprise, which is a Raigeki Break. There are some others, like Gagaku-P.U.N.K. Crash Beat or Gagaku-P.U.N.K. Wild Picking, though they are very underwhelming, and as such, are not worth playing.
