Known as Black Magician in Japan, this classic card that debuted in LoB has had an entire archetype built around it, and it still gets support to this day. However, some of its cards are extremely expensive, like Dragoon is $120+ per copy, Magicians' Souls is $50+ per copy, and Soul Servant is $45+ per copy, making this deck very costly.
Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon is a card that was meant to be support for the Dark Magician and Red-Eyes archetypes, but ended up being a staple shoved in every deck. 1-2x Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon, 1-2x Red-Eyes Fusion, and a Verte Anaconda, which is now banned, was put in every deck that could facilitate it. But if you play a Dark Magician or Red-Eyes deck, shoving the other in the deck when you're already playing one makes deckbuilding a lot easier.
