Week 8 Prog Playoffs Anime Club DM Finale

Prog Playoffs, but we open two mainline sets, 24 packs each, and the bottom two players ban a card each (if both say the same card at the same time, then 3 a week) after every week till the end of the season. Everyone has 3 poly, so fusions can work, and we are also using errata cards plus MR5.

This week is a no holds bar round robin tournament to king the winner of the DM era, all cards from Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon through to Flaming Eternity are available. After this we will start the Gx Era!

Week 8 Finale (Topic: What cards are you shocked that made it through this series? )

Baja: Trap Dustshoot , Magician’s Apprentice, Sakuretsu Armor a lot of utility and blowout cards that more people should of made into decks but never materialized

Dream: Jinzo Judgment Lightning Vortex Jizo is a win con plus judgement is soooooo good plus only one who had both Lighting Vortex only showed up to destroy Hunter lol I got away with m*rder lol sad to see Exile Injection Fairy and Lava Golem not see much play I also clung to Twin Thunder Dragon like my life depended on it

Hunnie: Weird that none of the recruiters besides Witch and Sangan were banned because Baja’s fire deck and the umi tribe infect tribute decks were really good but not innovated much also Hunnie was close to making Reasoning Gate but lacked the Heavy’s Trunades and spell trap removal; she probably had the best theoretical deck

Hunter: Raigeki Lighting, Royal Oppression, Vortex Chaos Sorc, Breaker, Hammer Shot, Fissure and of course the p.a.c.m.a.n cards like besides Hunter, no one joined the dark side. Also, Hunter worked on a normal monster plus huge revolution stun deck ready to deploy but wasn’t confident

York: Why did it take so long for Skill Drain to get banned but also how Graceful Mind Crush Necro Valley My body, and also Tribe Infecting Virus just walked free , (Apparently York had multiple war cr*me decks but always chose another deck)
