Wanghu is already pretty popular as a Warrior subtype more focused around King Tiger Wanghu, a card so weirdly written that even today it's found places as a strange niche tech option against some combo-heavy decks. This version focuses more around balancing a Warrior toolbox while trying to establish a actual identity for Wanghu as a main deck slot without it seeming too forced.
The monsters were easy; you play stat-heavy stuff that punishes the heavy usage of flip monsters in basically every deck worth mentioning. That means Blade Knight and the usual Warrior staples. Ninja works well for handling walls and having pretty great stats. It also works with getting Wanghu on the field via Art of Transformation. It's not perfect, but it can fly though the deck faster and even bypass some destruction attempts. Freed seems a bit weird but given how much LIGHT stuff you are using here he can be incredibly useful for alt-removal alongside being another good beater.
Spells are the usual Trinity, but 3x Smashing Ground means we can right away establish presence while getting rid of big threats. Nobleman, Reinforcement, you know the deal.
Traps are a ;ittle bit more out there. Light of Intervention + Wanghu is a classic Lock strat, forcing the opponent to either waste their sub-1400 ATK monsters or hold on to them and clog the hand more. Getting this off on a unsuspecting Goat/Chaos Control deck can be crippling given half of their consistency comes from flip monsters and/or floating into things. Transformation seems a bit dodgy but I think it really clicked with the deck and allowed it a ton more flexiablity despite the limitations of the card. It can be easily sided out anyway so I wasn't that bothered.
Everything else is just the usual, focusing on removal of backrow and monsters when needed to keep the game firmly under your pace.
Side deck throws in Chaos given the relatively easy synergy between what's being used here. Mobius is a handy backrow killer with solid stats. Some extra traps to focus more on hard negations, pretty basic but strudy cover.
