General Tips

+ special'ing Transcicada to the field & activating its Moult Token gives you immediate access to Desert Locusts.

+ Transcicada + Moult Token while you have 1 other Lv.3 on the field nets you Mist Wurm.

+ Bug Matrix allows you to bypass the XYZ Digital Bugs' LIGHT condition for material, allowing you to attach any Insect in your hand, from Hack Worm to Brain Crusher, to use as the Digital Bugs' material effects.

+ Bug Matrix + Materiactor Annulus can be used to get either Lv.7 Insect summoned by sending it on a trip from: Hand → under Insect XYZ as material → GY → Field, though it will be in face-down position, and will need to be manually flipped into attack position.

+ Dharc can snatch potential Virus fodder from opponent's GY if they have DARKs.

+ Lyna can be used to get Registrider in your hand, letting you special it upon normal summoning another Digital Bug (or Bagworm), and go straight into Cicada King, Brilliant, or Scaradiator, or either Corebage or Rhinosebus with Registrider's optional level change effect.

+ Super Crashbug's automatic ATK/DEF switching effect means it can be tributed for Grinning Grave Virus to force opponent to destroy the maximum of 6 cards.
