Vendread has been my main deck for a long time now and I believe that this is one of if not the best ways to play the deck currently. The Vendread line is fairly standard, we only play the good Vendread monsters (Houndhorde and Revenants, and then the Anima which you can cut if you want but I do like the ability to reuse one of my banished Vendreads.) The Fiendsmith stuff is also standard, I wish Caesar was generic so that we could make it with the Vendread guys but that would be too good :p
I tinkered with the other Vendread traps, Daybreak isn't BAD, its a board wipe where you actually get to keep pretty much everything on your field thanks to how the Vendread cards work. Another tech I tried was more generic Rank 6 guys in the extra, and there definitely is flexibility in there, Yuki Onna can go, the vampires can go as well. Its honestly entirely up to you. The only necesseties in there are the Savior, the Fiendsmith stuff and Flying Mary since its a means to recycle your banished guys which is where the need for more generic 6s comes from since Scar is a level 6. If anyone's got suggestions let me know.
As for starters, for Vendread you've got 14 and for Fiendsmith you've got... 3... I guess Exciton is the 4th... Technically. Vulcarrion is a tech choice you can use to get to Exciton easier, buuuuuut that's a 2 card starter and I'm trying to build the "best" and most consistent deck here so yeah.
Will be iterating further on the deck, of course, but for now this is what I've got. Also, the deck is quite budget at 20 euro which is great.
