This is my current build of Pure Fire Kings on Master Duel. Here are a couple notes on why I like it:
- While Legendary Fire King Ponix is still an okay 1 card starter, Fire King Courtier Ulcanix is a really fun 1.5 card starter that ultimately unlocks many of the decks larger combos. Using just Ulcanix and any other Fire monster, you can make 4 bodies, which (because of Promethean Princess's Special Summon effect) is enough to create the endboard of Amphibious Swarmship Amblowhale + Fire King Avatar Arvata for a negate. This combo can be slightly altered to do things like, add back an Ash Blossom to hand using Sunlight Wolf and Relinquished Anima, or incorperate I:P Masquerena so she can be Special Summoned from your GY when Amblowhale is destroyed, allowing you to go into S:P Little Knight on your opponents turn. The big downside to Ulcanix as a starter as opposed to Ponix is that all of Ulcanix's longer combos are incredibly unsafe into Nibiru, making them more of a fun gimmick than anything else. If you're trying to climb as fast as possible, than maybe play it safe with Ulcanix and just end on Fire King Sanctuary (if possible) and 2 lvl 8s. But as a fun aside, Ulcanix can also make Coach King Giantrainer under Nibiru, so...
- Fire King Avatar Arvata is still a surprisingly good Normal Summon, letting you negate certain hand traps, while also in some cases advancing your gamestate by destroying a Fire monster. Almost nothing this deck can do feels better negating an Ash Blossom with Arvata, then using Hiita the Fire Charmer to link climb into Amblowhale using only 2 bodies. It's beautiful.
I'm pretty new to this game so if you have any helpful advice on how to improve this list, than I'd be more than happy to hear your feedback :)
(But don't just tell me to add Snake-Eye. That's not helpful.)
