"Despite its simplicity, the main benefit Invoked provides to Vaylantz is that it is the only way to truly insulate your combo from Nibiru. If you draw Magical Meltdown, you can weave Aleister and Mechaba through your combo in such a way that your opponent cannot respond to your fifth summon Mechaba, immediately after which you Pendulum Summon. This lifts Beyond the Pendulum’s restriction, and allows you to respond to your opponent’s Nibiru using Mechaba should they attempt to wipe your board."
