Still on copium after losing Block Dragon, even if it's been, y'know, years? Just trying to find a deck to play this format with a bunch of Spright and Adamancipator cards just sitting around somewhere? Well, my friend, you've come to the right place! Introducing Vanquish Soul Adamancipator Spright, a combination of decks that sounds ridiculous but actually works really well.
Now these three decks on their own are absolutely amazing. Spright can build a board of interactions and negates, Adamancipator... does basically the same thing, and Vanquish Soul can easily disrupt your opponent's plays at Quick Effect speed. So, really nice, huh? So how do they all work together?
Well, quite simple, really... Vanquish Soul monsters have effects that require them to reveal certain monsters with certain Attributes from the hand, which are DARK, EARTH, and FIRE. These 3 Attributes are necessary in order to activate certain effects, like Vanquish Soul Heavy Borger providing draw power (and maybe burning for time) and Vanquish Soul Caesar Valius and Vanquish Soul Razen can easily pop cards on the field. The amount of power here is amazing, and Rock of the Vanquisher is just an amazing card that can quickly help bring out more Vanquish Soul monsters. Better yet, the other monsters in the Deck only help Vanquish Soul even further. The Adamancipator and Koa'ki Meiru monsters are EARTH (except for Dragite), Spright Blue is a DARK, and the Spright negates + Ash + Dogoran are FIRE.
But what if you don't draw your Vanquish Souls? Well, that's not much of an issue. All of the Adamancipator monsters can easily set up Synchro plays for even Levels, allowing you to go into either a Level 6, 8, or 10. Often, you'll be Synchro Summoning Raptite and then using it and one of your Level 2 Tuners to make Dragite or Borreload Savage Dragon (if you have a Link in grave). Plus, if you have Level 2 monsters on the field, you can go into Spright plays with Gigantic Spright, giving you access to more interactions by spamming more bodies for I:P Masquerena, yet another interaction which can spin a card on your opponent's turn with Knightmare Unicorn.
The deck is incredibly easy to pick up and understand, but pretty expensive. However, once you have the cards, please try and test it out - I want to see how good this deck really is (if I've just made a meta threat then uh... you can blame me)
Other Options
This is just one decklist, but there are a bunch of other cards you can play that I strongly recommend.
- Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir - Out of options? Get 2 monsters on the field, and hope you live.
- Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon - Any Level 2 Tuner + Raptite/Leonite = Crystal Wing. A nice monster negate.
- Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying - Just another great generic Level 10. Can't afford Baronne? That's fine, just play Chengying!
- Lava Golem - Okay this option sounds good, but, just one problem... it takes away your Normal Summon... something this deck kinda needs to get to cooking. Plus, if you draw Cartorhyn in the same hand, uh... enjoy having dead cards.
- Kurikara Divincarnate - Still nice and a smidge better than Lava Golem, but I'd prefer this as a side deck option.
- Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess - Another I:P target, and a good one at that too!
- Dimension Shifter - This one's... actually not too bad. Most of these cards rarely care about the GY, so you can take a D-Shifter. Note that you will actually be going against this card sometimes in certain strategies like pure Vanquish Soul, so don't worry.
That's all!
If you have any thoughts on the deck, please comment - feedback is appreciated, and I'd like to know how the deck can be further improved.
