The strategy is simple:
When going first, use the hunders to do the dragonar combo or a good synchro/ xyz to protect your field, or use lose 1 turn and thunder sea horse to stun your opponent while getting advantage.
When going second, use kaijus and super poly to break the opponents board and use hunders to potentially otk your opponent with dragonar combo and possibly another synchro/ xyz monster for support.
In both cases you have a good chamce to put a thinder floodgate on the field thanks to double summon. Thunder king against offensive decks and denko against defensive decks.
