For those who have been playing since a decade ago, a variant of synchro HEROes have always existed; Destiny HERO – Zombies (2009), Diva HEROes, (2011), and Tzolkin HEROes (Since 2016) with the release of Ulitmaya Tzolkin. Despite A Hero Lives, Dark Grepher, Armageddon Knight, and Destiny HERO – Malicious being hit by the banlist, this deck is still going strong. Here is the updated version for August 2021.

Starting Hand:
- Elemental HERO Stratos
- Fire Flint Lady
Ending Board:
- Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon (x2)
- Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon
- Predaplant Verte Anaconda
- Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade (Hand)
Steps:
- Normal summon Elemental HERO Stratos.
- Activate Elemental HERO Stratos to search Vision HERO Vyon.
- Special Summon Fire Flint Lady from the hand.
- Activate Fire Flint Lady to send itself to the graveyard and special summon Vision HERO Vyon from the hand.
- Activate Vision HERO Vyon to send Elemental HERO Shadow Mist from the deck to the graveyard.
- Activate Elemental HERO Shadow Mist to search Destiny HERO – Malicious.
- Activate Vision HERO Vyon 2nd effect to banish Elemental HERO Shadow Mist from the graveyard and search Polymerization.
- Link summon into Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights (Elemental HERO Stratos + Vision HERO Vyon) into the extra monster zone.
- Activate Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights to search Destiny HERO – Celestial. You will be setting up to use its draw effect in the future.
- Activate Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights 2nd to send 4 equip cards, including Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade, from the deck to the graveyard to special summon Dark Grepher from the deck.
- Activate Dark Grepher, send Destiny HERO – Malicious from the hand to the graveyard and then send Plaguespreader Zombie from the deck to the graveyard.
- Banish Destiny HERO – Malicious from the graveyard to special summon its copy from the deck.
- Activate Plaguespreader Zombie, return Destiny HERO – Celestial to the top of the deck to special summon itself from the graveyard.
- Synchro summon in Coral Dragon (Dark Grepher + Plaguespreader Zombie).
- Synchro summon into Ultimaya Tzolkin (Destiny HERO – Malicious + Coral Dragon).
- Activate Coral Dragon to draw 1 card which will be Destiny HERO – Celestial.
- Set Polymerization to activate Ultimaya Tzolkin and synchro summon Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
- Activate Polymerization to fusion summon into Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste (Ultimaya Tzolkin + Destiny HERO – Celestial).
- Activate Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste and banish Ultimaya Tzolkin to gain its effect.
- Activate Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade and banish 2 warriors from the graveyard to add it from the graveyard to the hand.
- Set Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade to activate Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste and synchro summon into the 2nd Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
- Activate Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade and equip it to Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights.
- Link summon into Predaplant Verte Anaconda (Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights + Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste). That will also send Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade to the graveyard.
- Activate Predaplant Verte Anaconda and copy Red-Eyes Fusion to fusion summon Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon (Dark Magician + Red-Eyes Black Dragon).
- Activate Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade and banish 2 warriors from the graveyard to add it from the graveyard to the hand. This will give you a card in your hand to discard for Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon.

- Special Summon Fire Flint Lady from the hand.
- Link summon into Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights (Vision HERO Vyon + Fire Flint Lady) into the extra monster zone.
- Activate Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights to search Destiny HERO – Celestial.
- Activate Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights 2nd to send 4 equip cards, including Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade, from the deck to the graveyard to special summon Armageddon Knight from the deck.
- Upon summon, activate Armageddon Knight and send Plaguespreader Zombie from the deck to the graveyard.
- Activate Polymerization to fusion summon Destiny HERO – Dystopia (Destiny HERO – Malicious + Destiny HERO – Celestial).
- Banish Destiny HERO – Malicious from the graveyard to special summon its copy from the deck.
- Activate Plaguespreader Zombie, return Miracle Synchro Fusion to the top of the deck to special summon itself from the graveyard.

- Activate Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade and banish 2 warriors from the graveyard to add it from the graveyard to the hand.
- Set Divine Sword – Phoenix Blade to activate Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste and synchro summon into the 2nd Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
