Trinity Format - Duston Factory
Deck Primer
Heyo. 45 card Duston deck for the Trinity format. Starduston is both one of my favorite cards and one of the few legal floodgates in the format. The requirements one must match to summon and keep them alive are absolutely bonkers specific, but this list attempts to play within them and get things online. Lots of traps, tutors, and long-term growth to attempt and stop plays and eventually kill with either Archnemeses Protos or a stalled-out Wave-Motion Cannon.
45 cards, so three points. First two points are spent on two additional copies of Dark Factory of More Production, and the last is spent 50/50 on Archnemeses Protos & Pot of Extravagance.
The majority of raw card advantage in this list comes from Dark Factory of More Production, with Legacy of the Duelist occasionally blowing people out in a similar fashion. Cards like Scapeghost, House Duston, and Kinka-byo create bodies, and those bodies can be used with the aforementioned cards. All of this (hopefully) leads to having a solid hand, board control, a mild bit of recursion, and a whole lot of countermagic.
Dustons, despite not being usable in a myriad of summoning methods, are just fine with being linked. This means that after poofing a House Duston, some modest link plays can be made within the 3-summon limit. Of course, your opponent will get some Dustons as well which they're able to link next turn, so you'll need to keep that in mind. If you do end up giving the opponent some Dustons, you can make it harder for them to make use of them with either Starduston or Archnemeses Protos.
