A project I'm theory crafting. A MTG player returning to Yugioh with the 25th anniversiy, very new to modern Yugioh, I wanted to make my own structure decks to essemble a self contained item for casual board game nights. Burning Abyss has been competitive in the past, but I wanted to make a casual deck that uses all the B.A. cards with no full sets and staple cards outside the strategy.
My rules are to make sure to include as many archtype cards as possible. Avoid full playsets so decks are not super consistent. Include a few staples (Ash, Maxx, etc) for interaction. Possibly include another archtype (or their staples) if they have synergy.
Any suggestions to make this deck more fun and at a similar power level with modern structures decks would be appreciated.
