Traptrix is an archetype that received some pretty impressive support, featured in the newest SD. Well I recommend buying the SD and thus I shall show ya all a potential build. Keep in mind that the deck has the potential to top a local. I shall proceed by explaining some of my choices.
1. Dimension Shifter: I'm pretty sure this guy won't see that much use after the bloodbath banlist and thanks to the fact that he helps Kashtira. Nevertheless keep in mind that Tears aren't entirely dead and they will pretty much be an engine now for other decks (including Kashtira). Apart from that, I consider shifter pretty strong versus most of decks that's why I choose not to drop him (although he could be dropped for sth like Ash)
2. Small number of Traptrix main deck monsters: Guys you really don't want to see a hand that contains much Traptrix names so it's probably better to keep their numbers low. However, I could maybe accept running one more copy of Dionea.
3. Dimensional Barrier: I firmly believe that Kashtira and possibly Branded are this new format's best decks. Dimensional Barrier is probably really effective against their respective strategies. Apart from that I consider the card effective versus all those Mikanko variants that popped out of nowhere as well as Purrely and the fan favourite Swordsoul strategies
4. Evenly Matched: I believe nobody has a say against Evenly's strength. Instead people will ask why it is main-decked. Well it's just another going 2nd strategy ('cause you won't always win the dice roll) and a fodder for Holetaea when going 1st (if you don't have access to Dionea SS recover a Trap hole)
That's it for this profile. I hope it helps you enough. As always I'm open to suggestions (especially since I'm in search for a budget alternative to Prosperity) and, any ideas and comments are welcome.
