Transient Titan of Tartarus is a Level 9 EARTH Zombie monster who has a mandatory effect that activates upon it being sent from Deck to the GY which sends as many cards you control to the GY as possible in order to Special Summon it from the GY and send cards your opponent controls to the GY up to the number of cards sent to the GY by this effect and this effect’s activation cannot be responded to with monster effects by either player. And if it is sent to the GY (except from Deck), you can send a card from your hand to the GY as cost to send a card on the field to the GY with you only being able to activate 1 effect of Transient Titan per turn and only once that turn. I really like playing Zombies, so it is not hard for me to see how bad Transient Titan is. For one, it is a mandatory effect to send all cards you control to the GY to Special Summon itself from GY after it has been sent from your Deck to the GY. If I am sending a card from my Deck to the GY in a Zombie Deck, I would like to send a Necroworld Banshee, a Ghost Sleeper, the Underworld Princess, a Doomking Balerdroch, or a Chiangshi the Spiridao because I know that those cards will help further my plays and they actually serve a purpose and a role that is important to the Deck. Transient Titan, even if you do use it to send your opponent cards to the GY, is still a stretch to play. I would rather end my opponent’s turn by running them out of plays and preventing them from having a sufficient follow-up rather than trying to put cards onto my field and then somehow sending Transient Titan from my Deck to the GY through my opponent’s interruptions and then sacrificing my entire board somewhat of a boardwipe and a vanilla on field. Its second effect doesn’t really matter either because the card is 1 effect per turn and only once that turn either way. Y’know what a better Zombie card is that also can Summon itself back and send a card on field to GY? Eldlich the Golden Lord who just requires you to send a Spell/Trap from hand or field to GY for its effects respectively rather than relying on you using another card’s effect to get to its effects like how it works with Transient Titan. But moving into the idea of playing it in Prediction Princess, it is still bad. It’s an EARTH Attribute monster which prevents you from getting Prediction Princess Bibliomuse from Deck after targeting it with World Legacy Monstrosity, but we are testing it anyway. There are 2 ways to approach this: we can use Uni-Zombie to send Transient Titan from Deck to GY to Summon it and then target it with Monstrosity or we can use the Red Resonator Predaplant engine to get to Ib the World Chalice Justiciar and then Instant Fusion out a Level 1 to get to Immortal Dragon to have access to both Transient Titan and Monstrosity at the same time. I prefer to do the Red Resonator Predaplant stuff more just because it gives you more options to work with rather than having to hard draw Uni-Zombie access and Monstrosity as you could just make Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment rather than Transient Titan and have much better target on field for Monstrosity if things don’t go your way. Just need Red Resonator, Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio, and a monster to discard. Normal Red Resonator who Special Summons Scorpio from hand. Scorpio sends a monster from hand to GY to get Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra from Deck who searches Instant Fusion. Synchro Red Resonator and Scorpio into Ib. Ib searches for Monstrosity from Deck. Instant Fusion into Millennium-Eyes Restrict and then Synchro it and Ib into Immortal Dragon who sends Transient Titan from Deck to GY. Transient Titan activates sending your board to GY to Summon itself and you can now target it with Monstrosity to get Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light and Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag from Deck. Make Mereologic Aggregator with any 2 of them and send Herald of the Arc Light from Extra Deck to GY for a Ritual search and the rest is the same as always. Again, Transient Titan is terrible and is really not a great choice to play in a Prediction Princess Deck, but it’s another Level 9 crossed off the list.
For the monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei is a Quick Effect to flip a monster face-up or face-down and during the End Phase, she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down. Tarotreith can either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei’s End Phase effect. On flip, she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters either face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back from GY face-down if she was tributed and sent there. On flip, she can add a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand, and while she’s face-up on field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s effects. 2 Deus-X Krawler which negates all activated monster effects on your opponent’s side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute than it from Deck. 1 of the aforementioned Transient Titan of Tartarus (just don’t draw it). 2 Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag which can Special Summon itself from your hand if there is a monster in the EMZ and it is a Level 9. 1 Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light which is a Level 9 to Summon from Deck off of Monstrosity targeting Transient Titan and it is also a Level 9 Plant we can access off of Lonefire, giving us full Prediction Princess combo if we also draw Monstrosity. 3 Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio which sends a monster from your hand to GY on Normal or Special Summon to Special Summon a Predaplant monster from Deck and 1 Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra which searches for a Fusion or Polymerization Spell from Deck if Special Summoned by the effect of a Predaplant monster. 2 Lonefire Blossom which can Tribute a Plant to Summon a Plant from Deck. 3 Red Resonator which can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from your hand on Normal Summon or target 1 monster on the field on Special Summon to gain LP equal to that monster’s ATK. 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.
Spell/Traps: 3 Resonator Call which searches for a Resonator monster. 2 World Legacy Monstrosity which either Special Summons a Level 9 monster from hand or targets a Level 9 monster you control to Special Summon 2 Level 9 monsters from your Deck with a different Type and Attribute than that monster but with different names. 1 Instant Fusion for Master of Ham, but also to access a Level 1 Fusion monster to Synchro with Ib the World Chalice Justiciar into Immortal Dragon. 3 Pot of Prosperity. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which Ritual Summons a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY and you can banish it during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess monster from Deck face-down. And finally, 3 Infinite Impermanence.
Extra Deck: 1 Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment. Because we are playing the Predaplant monsters alongside Red Resonator, it is incredibly easy to get to Fusion Trish with Monstrosity in hand for full Prediction Princess combo. Furthermore, it actually gets you to Prediction Princess Bibliomuse unlike targeting Transient Titan with Monstrosity would, so it is nice to play for an easier route to travel through. 1 Master of Ham which can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or Deck face-down on Fusion Summon. 1 Millennium-Eyes Restrict. Honestly, this can be any Level 1 Fusion Monster: Infernoid Evil, Independent Nightingale, Thousand-Eyes, Fullmetalfoes Alkahest, whatever. We just need the single star to Synchro with Ib into Immortal Dragon. Speaking of, 1 Immortal Dragon. The only effect we are focusing on in this monster is its first effect which sends a Zombie monster from your Deck to GY to change its Level to the difference between its and the sent monster’s Level. This is how we are going to be sending Transient Titan from our Deck to the GY. Aside from being able to make Fusion Trish as an alternative Level 9 option in this Deck that plays the Predaplants and Red Resonator for Immortal Dragon (with the ability to search Monstrosity), the reason why I am not playing 3 Uni-Zombie and 3 Shiranui Solitaire and calling it a day is because Uni-Zombie severely limits your options in general - more than Transient Titan’s EARTH Attribute being a detriment as a Monstrosity target in this Deck. It requires you draw Uni-Zombie and Monstrosity together which is a bit difficult to do as while Uni-Zombie has 3 additional access points through 3 copies of Solitaire in the Deck, Monstrosity is unsearchable. And it is not like we can play Kaku and Summon it from hand for our second Level 9 next to Transient Titan either as we have no ways to get a monster into the EMZ to actually Summon Kaku. And that is when we get to Transient Titan’s Attributing issue which prevents us from actually getting to Bibliomuse so we are just going to be banking on drawing 1 of the Ritual Monsters already. There are just more upsides to downsides to playing Immortal Dragon over Uni-Zombie. 1 Ib the World Chalice Justiciar which searches a World Legacy card from Deck on Synchro Summon. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which searches for a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from Deck if sent to the GY. 2 Mereologic Aggregator. 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. 1 Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess. 1 Cross-Sheep. 1 S:P Little Knight. And 1 Gravity Controller.
Side Deck: 3 Nibiru, the Primal Being, 2 Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju, 2 Kashtira Fenrir, 3 Dark Ruler No More, 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster, 1 Called By the Grave, and 3 Evenly Matched.
