Top 32 in the Venezuelan national 2026. 

Simplify, optimize, and boost. That was the strategy behind creating the deck. Orcust is primarily a deck with a long and often problematic grind. 

With cards like Knightmare and Wand, the deck suffers from inconsistency in mixed recipes, and having Crown in hand, the field and the counter trap are a recipe for not playing. That's why I decided to remove Wand and Knightmare from the deck, and maximize the normal summons that Orcust offers, with Cymbal being the worst of them, but still enough to reach an Omni negator. And carrying two Cymbals is because many times I ended up not having enough names to grind with. 

With Mitsurugi, something curious happens: I decided to keep the trap outside the main deck because you already had a negating trap. If I draw both of them in my hand, it's unplayable. I never lacked Mitsurugi names in my deck; in fact, I often had too many. Mitsurugi has its bridge to the orcust with the Vampire Zombie and dingirsu, which was indisputably the best monster in the deck. Whenever I was able to solve dingirsu, I ended up winning the duel (or the Match). The decisions of the side are very specific. If I saw that it was a deck that prioritized the graveyard as a mechanic, there are DDG and Skull Meister. By deciding not to bring Lancea for a Maliss or a Mirror Match, or even for an Evenly Match, I found myself in a very difficult position in some duels, specifically two that I lost (Maliss in round 6 and Exosister in round 13).

The deck itself performs very well, and with Dominus Impulse it improves significantly. It's a deck that could do well in this format, and it remains to be seen how it performs.
