This deck consists on bring thunder king Rai-Oh to the field as soon as possible, while have many defensive and board breaking cards to backup this strategy.
There are 3 main basic combos:
- pa/ma and solar: normal summon pa/ma, activate its effects to normal summon solar, activate solars effects to send rai-oh to the gy, link pa/ma and solar into summoner and pass. During your opponent turn, activate summoner effect to special summon rai-oh from gy.
- pa/ma and bro: normal summon pa/ma, activate its effect to normal summon Bro, activate Bro effect to search rai-oh, link pa/ma and bro into summoner and pass. During your opponent turn, activate summoner effect by discarding rai-oh from your hand and special summon it from gy (this Works because you Will have thunder monsters previously in your gy by the time you discard rai-oh).
- Photo sanctuary and rai-oh: activate photon sanctuary to special summon 2 tokens, link the tokens into summoner, normal summon rai-oh. You Will already have rai-oh onvthe field, but If you use its Second effect, you can revive him with summoner by discard a card, during your opponent turn.
This deck is a midrange deck that can both go first and second, his going First can be strange against a deck that are ficcused on breaking boards and its going second can be akward against decks that have multiples negates like 4+ negates. Overral its a balanced deck. Also the ratio of the quantitiesbof monsters, spells and traps being like that was made on purpose, só If the opponent Lock onde type of card, ill have other 2 to Work with. And each type of card have a main function: monsters are the main engine, spells are utility (extenders, draw and recycle), and traps are defenses (going First and going second defenses). The extradeck se have summoner, super Poly targets and some toolbox options that do have any major conflict with the other cards in the deck.
