2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up
- 1 Corinthian 13:2-4 KJV
Shiranui Guide
Th archetype revolves around a group of swordsmen that are able to utilize sheathing and unsheathing their swords to spread the importance of what God has done because of what God has blessed their leader with.
The fulcrum of the deck is the Samurai who is able to remind others of the importance of trusting in what God has given by banishing other Shiranui monsters in order to banish other monsters by battle (assuring others of the fact that they come from God). Swordmaster is able to lend others his abilities because of this. Spiritmaster shares the importance of the grace God has given them by the purification of God’s fire. Spectral sword is the spirit of their leader who is able to assist others via the waters of the Holy Spirit. Blacksmith reflects the importance of God in their lives due to how their weapons are made. Shade is supposed to be the old sins of the group that have been tried in the fire but Squire has to learn how to use it to not sin and is technically no longer needed. And Squire doesn’t really want to battle because of Shade until she realizes the importance of her role. Solitaire isn’t really needed either but he tries to remind the Shiranui of the importance of the other Shiranui sharing what God has done for them with the message to not rely on satan and to submit to the will of God.
Their spells/traps are expressions of what God has done in their lives. Ghost meets girl is a testament of the hospitality of the Shiranui when your opponent has a monster. Samsara is the promise of God that we will be born again in water and made pure in His fire. Style Success is the importance of how God forgives us of our sins because of Jesus baptizing us in the spirit since we will be reborn in water and have our sins removed by God’s righteous fire. Style Synthesis is the blessing from God that God has imbued onto Shiranui’s leader to pass onto the other members of the Shiranui: the importance of telling others of God’s promises and living faithfully according to this.
