Weird, but works! Basic idea is to provide consistency to Monarch, Remus just happen to be one of the best for it. Use Remus add Ravine, use Ravine discard 1 add Legatus, ss Legatus, ss Remus from GY, make Gae Dearg, use Gaedearg add Baby Roc and discard it, ss Baby Roc, make Chaos Ruler and mill for 5, fetch anything you lack (preferably Majesty's Fiend or Dark Simorgh, then handtrap/the Danger! if you want). If starts from Ravine we will negs harder, add Remus, use Remus add 2nd Ravine, use Ravine add Legatus, and continue like normal.
The rest is just consistency card like Danger! (Dogman is the best cus 2400/1000 stats, Nessie can fetch Dogman, Jackalope thins our deck), we dont run Tsuchinoko tho as if its discarded it wont thin our deck (we need to thin the deck for better Chaos Ruler mill/Pantheism draw). Domain will be active if we used those Gae Dearg and Chaos Ruler. We dont run Monarch Erupt as it negates Dark Simorgh and it's not good against Virtual World, Drytron, or Eldlich. Kuraz is there for more draw as we can pop our Ravine. Return of the Monarchs makes any of our tribute summon a lock (adds Ehther, summon during opponent's turn, ss Dark Simorgh/Kuraz, u can also run Seleglare for bounce).
Dark Simorgh is super clutch here, as it can ss itself from hand/GY (if we have DARK and WIND), Ehther can summon it too during our opponent's turn to lock them from setting trap which is super popular right now. Chaos Ruler benefits from DARK and LIGHT attribute to ss itself from GY, making us wont lack big beater for damage.
Pros: Better consistency, more locks (extra deck, monster activation, and cant set cards).
Cons: Monarch sucks, plenty of flaws.
