The First Darklord Chaos Ruler

EDIT: Needs revision, I missed the vital card text on Darklord Ixchel that reads "...target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap in your GY..." so this will not work with any Spell/Trap. I'm disappointed, but experimenting with other cards like Spell Reproduction...

I just built this deck, still playtesting. What sparked my interest in building the deck is the challenge in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel to "Take control of X opponent monsters". I also pulled The First Darklord, so I thought it would be cool to summon him. I've experimented with Darklord Nurse Reficule deck, and wanted to build another Darklord deck, though I don't have much experience at all playing Fusion monsters.

So far, I have found that Diviner of the Herald + Darklord Contact is a great starting hand. Target Darklord Ukoback with Diviner, and then Dark Contact Ukoback to get Chaos Ruler, The Chaotic Magical Dragon out fast.

Darklord Ixchel and Darklord Amdusc are great for playing Spell/Trap cards from the GY, like Necro Fusion or Greater Polymerization. Sending the Spell/Trap cards you need in GY with Foolish Burial Grounds. I'm thinking that Banishment of the Darklords should usually fetch Darklord Contact, as Contact is what gets you Ixchel or Amdusc on the field to start targeting Spell/Traps in the GY. Can also send Called by the Grave or Infinite Impermanence to the GY with Foolish Burial Grounds, to prep counters to hand traps or monster effects, depending on your matchup.

Don't forget to take advantage of that card draw with Darklord Ixchel!

Can use the link Code monsters from the extra deck if you get bricked on your starting hand/draws. Halqifribrax --> Phonon Pulse Dragon --> Chaos Ruler, The Chaotic Magical Dragon might work, though I have not needed to go that route in playtesting just yet.

Darklord Enchantment and Grinning Grave Virus are mostly for fun and can be replaced by better cards.

I'm only Gold Rank in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, so I'm still learning! This is my first attempt at building a deck from scratch. Any help/tips, strats I have missed, or card suggestions, would be much appreciated. 🙏
