a lot of these cards are Starters so its very hard to brick. This is my 2nd time doing this deck and I think this is the best possible verion of this deck. each card can pretty much combo into anything you want or need as all extra deck cards require Light and/or level 4 monsters. The only problem I've run into with this deck is anything that have more than 3 negates and a monster that is unaffected by card effects and that has a high atk as the highest potential atk this deck can achieve is 4400 with Arcanite magician with Aiwass but no protection, alternatively you can have Zoroa with Aiwass and/or other extra deck cards to have it negate all extra deck monsters matching the same type as the equiped card.
Aside from those problems I've been able to prevail against many decks specifically those that heavily rely on the extra deck, through the use of magistus, the graveyard, through the use of exosisters, and main decks through the use of everything, primairly from the use of removal by banish by exosisters and inturptions and monster stealing through fusions and big beatsticks by magistus.
So far the popular decks I've beaten so far are Floo, Tearlaments, Edlitch, marincess, and labrynth. There are also decent altnerative side cards you can play namely dynatherium, D.D crow, and shallow grave. you can also potentially play quintet magician (Good luck with that) I've found that its most consistant to play it with Keeper of dragon magic and magicalized fusion, as it is a level 4 monster and a spell card that can be used by summoner monk.
