"
Dark Magical Circle" and "
Magician Navigation" are key multi-purpose tools. DMC: draw power + banishing, makes use of cards whose name become "Dark Magician" including: "
Magician of Dark Illusion" (field) and "
Dark Magician the Dragon Knight" (field or graveyard, synergy with "
Eternal Soul" and "
Magicians' Combination"). MN: summons 2 and can banish itself from the graveyard to negate a spell/trap
"
The Eye of Timaeus" and "
Secrets of Dark Magic", along with "
Magicalized Fusion", for fusion summons. Eye uses only one DM or DMG from the field to bring out a range of fusion monsters. Secrets uses material from the hand or field, bring out "
The Dark Magicians" or "
Quintet Magician". MF is not searchable like the rest of the cards in this deck, however being able to use material from the field or graveyard is quite useful.
"Soul Servant" quickplay spell place 1 card that is or lists DM or DMG from the hand, deck, or graveyard to the top of the deck. Can banish itself from the graveyard to draw cards based on the number of different DM and DMG on field and graveyard. Basically a Pot of Greed when used properly.
"Magician's Rod" normal summon to grab a DM spell/trap from the deck. Tribute a Spellcaster to add MR back to the hand from the GY.
"Magicians' Souls" can send up to 2 Spells/Traps from your hand and/or field to the GY: draw that many cards. Discard a lvl 6+ spellcaster from the deck to activate: Can be special summoned or Send to the GY from the hand in order to summon DM or DMG from the GY. 0 ATK/DEF card with great utility.
"
Magician of Dark Illusion" on activation cycles DM from the GY to the field to reuse for fusions.
