Tearlaments (July 2026) (Masterduel)

As of July 2026, Masterduel has unleashed Instant Fusion into ladder by making the card limited to 1! Since then I knew I IMMEDIATELY had to play it in the best deck that it can be used it - Tearlaments! Instant Fusion immediately summons Kitkallos, supercharging your plays with mills, resources and advantage! Thanks for trusting us milling addicts with Instant Fusion Konami :3

Featuring their signature playstyle of milling to proc their graveyard effects, Tearlaments has nearly unlimited amounts of gas because of the strength of it's own archetypes! The Horus and Fiendsmith archetypes also offer incredible support thanks to the XYZ milling powerhouses like The Zombie Vampire (rank 8) and Pilgrim Reaper (rank 6). 

The ability of the Fiendsmith engine to easily link summon A Bao A Qu, The Lightless Shadow has been quite a boon for Tearlaments, since it gives the strategy usage out of the extra monsters it has on the field while it can reborn a light/dark in the GY or destroy a card! Also, if you manage to enter the next turn with A Bao A Qu intact, you're basically drawing 10+ cards with her, effectively winning you the game with such incredible follow-up. 

In this Kewl Tunes infested Masterduel meta, Tearlaments actually can play into their low impact handtraps and negates/pops due to the immense gas the strategy has. Super Polymerization also can smash through a Kewl Tunes board, enabling your milling to go through uninterrupted. Overall, I've found the milling with Tearlaments very fun, dopamine inducing and surprisingly powerful in my climb to Masters this season. Hopefully the same for yo too! And remember...
