Swordsoul Branded is awesome!

SWORDSOUL IS BACK BABY!

The new branded support helps us tremendously.

1 "Fallen of the White Dragon" or 1 "Branded in High Spirits" (with a discard) makes at least  2 Synchros + Granguignol + Cartesia and Ecclesia back in Hand + Fallen And The Virtuous.

IF you have any swordsoul or wyrm in your hand, you get instead 3 Synchros + Cartesia on field + The Fallen & the Virtuous quickspell set + Ecclesia in Hand + 1 extra draw.

1 of these Synchros is always "Ecclesia of the Black Dragon" which can be different interruption, but used mostly for special the OG Albaz from Deck and provide double interruption, thanks to mirrorjade.

If we have Suruya already in hand we also end on "Swordsoul Blackout".

"Small World" can bridge every card into the new albaz.

"Branded in High Spirits" can use most of the monsters as discard besides Purulia and Ash

I cutted some bricks to maximize consistency but lowered the ceiling a bit.

The Deck is without a doubt super consistent!

1 Card Combo (Fallen Of The White Dragon):

1. Activate Fallen of the White Dragon in hand, send Mirrorjade

2. Activate on field, special Ecclesia

3. Use Ecclesia to special Taia

4. Taia banish Mirrorjade, generate a token

5. Synchro 8 into Chixiao

6.Chainlink: Chixiao 1, Taia 2 - Taia send Golden Swordsoul, Chixiao adds Swordsoul Emergence

7. Swordsoul Emergence adds Tenyi-Spirit - Suruya

8. Special Suruya from Hand

9. Synchro 8 into Ecclesia And The Dark Dragon

10 Effect to banish itself until the endphase, summon Cartesia from deck

11. Golden Swordsoul in GY triggers, banish for cost to special Ecclesia back to the field from GY

12. Fusion Summon into Granguignol, send Albion from Extradeck to GY

13. Endphase, add Cartesia + Ecclesia back to hand and set The Fallen And the Virtuous from Deck to field.

Some tech choices worth mentioning:

You can easily make "Tenyi Spirit - Mula Adhara" which searches any fieldspell. Since we always end on 1 or 2 Spellcaster, we can abuse "Secret Village of the Spellcasters".

"The Iris of Swordsoul" would be easily searchable with "Swordsoul Emergence" or with the new lvl8 synchro "The Three Brave Swordsouls".

For now I'm not sure which of the lvl10 synchros I'll keep in the Extra Deck.

I'm currently more on Chengying, because he is a pseudo out for Liger Dancer. He can get bigger than Liger and also has a destruction protection.

We can also trigger his banish effect more often with the addition of "Ecclesia of the black dragon"

Changes made 23.02.26 for next WCQ:

- removed crossout

- removed all 1 of handtraps as target for crossout

- added a 2nd "the fallen and the virtuous"

- added a 2nd and 3rd imperm in maindeck

Sidedeck is now nearly perfect.

has answers to almost all common matchups and a solid wincon going first.
