Mimicking Man-Eater Bug is good in this format because it can't be destroyed by battle, and it can destroy Number 4: Stealth Kragen with its effect. If it destroys Stealth Kragen, then it can gain its typing, which makes it immune to any future Stealth Kragen's destruction effects.
Baobaboon is a valuable monster that can attack under Level Limit - Area B, fix your hand with its draw effect, and float into two more copies of itself when it's destroyed. Its floating effect is great for maintaining your field presence and xyz summoning rank 3s.
D.D. Post ensures you never deck out. Banish a card from your hand or graveyard, then recycle a card in your banished zone. Alternatively, keep your cards banished for an attack boost.
Punch-in-the-Box is a trolly battle trap for crowd control. It targets the opponent's attacking monster, sends 1 other monster your opponent controls to the graveyard, then lowers the target's attack by the sent monster's attack or defense in the the graveyard (which ever is higher, and your choice if tied) permanently. It's notable for being able to non-target send the opponent's Stealth Kragen to the graveyard, preventing it from floating. I did have some problems with it being a battle trap and requiring at least 2 of the opponent's monsters, however. I wonder if Curse of Anubis would've been better, but I couldn't test this out before the event ended.
Curse of Anubis changes all face-up attack position effect monsters on the field to defense position, then it changes the original defense of the monsters affected by this effect to 0, and prevents those monsters from changing their positions until the end of the turn. Unlike Punch-in-the-Box, Curse of Anubis is easily chainable to the opponent's effects, making it less vulnerable to backrow removal and harder to play around.
