After Crossover Breakers, Konami gave us a new Xyz archetype, the Raizeols, that plays like Spright but with Level/Rank 4 monsters. So because I'm a big fan of Springans, which is another level 4 archetype, I tried to play a Springans version fused with the Raizeols, and the results are extraordinary.
Deck Explaination
The Raizeol Main Deck Monsters are basically all Spright monsters but for Level/Rank 4 monster. They both have a Special Summon effect that always locks you into Rank 4 monster (But not Level 4, this will be important later in the combos) and another effect, that usually is a search. As you can see, the only Raizeol monster that I'm playing at 3x is Ice Raizeol, because is the only monster that you actually want to Normal Summon, giving you another body on the field (Like a Tour Guide From the Underworld) and thanks to that you can go into the Springans combo or the Raizeol combo. All the others are basically searchers for the Raizeol monsters. The only cards that really need to be explained, at least for the Main Deck, is Raizeol Cross And Raizeol Hole Thruster. The field spell is a very good card in the deck. It gives you a free recycle + Draw 1 and a Negate that doesn't start a chain, meaning that it cannot be negated. The trap is very particular, not for its effect, but for the name. Because there is the word "Hole", it can be used by Traptrix Rafflesia. This gives more value to Rafflesia, that usally Springans players used to play to avoid Nibiru, the Primal Being (Summon her before the 5th summon and if your opponent activates Nibiru you can just send Gravedigger's Trap Hole to negate it and inflict a big chunk of damage to your opponent). The rest of the Main Deck is standard, playing only 9 hantraps (That you can always switch for other ht, going second cards or whatever you like) and the Springans cards. The extra deck also is very standard, except for Mereologic Aggregator, a Rank 9 monster that you don't actually summon, but you send to the GY by the effect of Ex Raizeol, giving you a negate not only the first time you send it to the GY, but also when you attach it to Raizeol Deadnader and you use its effect to detach a material.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Differently from others engine, Raizeol is an autonomous engine, so if start with only Raizeol cards, you can still make a good board and obviously viceversa.
You have like 9/10 flex spots in you Main Deck and 4/5 other spots in your Extra Deck, differently from other Springans versions that are always pretty full of garnets, combo pieces, etc...
It's one of the few versions that can actually play around some handtraps. Usually handtraps are always a big red Stop sign for the deck, expecially big ones like Nibiru, the Primal Being or Dimension Shifter, but because Raizeol is basically one card combo that doesn't use the Graveyard that much, you can still make some plays.
You can make a lot of different end boards, making it very flexable against a lot of decks. You can have a ton of destruction, locks, etc.
Cons
Even tho Springans is composed by a lot of level/rank 4 monsters, one of the most important Extra Deck monster, Gigantic "Champion" Sargas, is a Rank 8. This is not a tragedy tho, because we can still summon him before we play the Raizeol monsters, but if you start with only Raizeol cards and 0 springans cards, you can only play the standard Raizeol combo (Which is not actually that bad).
The Raizeol basic combo (You can make it with all the Raizeol monsters by changing some steps but the result will be basically the same)
Conclusion
Even tho this is one of the best Springans version that you can play, it isn't the best Raizeol version. The deck has some flaws but overall it's pretty funny and can actually put on a really strong board. So go try it yourself and have fun!
