The Solfas
The lower "Solfachord" Pendulum Monsters (Cutia, Dreamia, Eliteia, Fancia) have the Scale effect of
preventing negation of "Solfachord" Pendulum Summons.
The upper "Solfachord" Pendulum Monsters (Gracia, Angelia, Beautia, Coolia) have the Scale effect of
preventing the opponent from responding to "Solfachord" Pendulum Summons with monster effects and Spell/Trap Cards.
EVEN-Scaled "Solfachord" Pendulum Monsters have bonus effects while you have an EVEN Scale, as indicated in red.
ODD-Scaled "Solfachord" Pendulum Monsters have bonus effects while you have an ODD Scale, as indicated in blue.
(NOTE: Effects of "Solfachord" Pendulum Monsters may not apply to their Link Monster, Musecea.)
DoSolfachord Cutia (LEVEL 1 / SCALE 8)
⦁ The "Solfachord"
monster searcher.
⦁ She's one of your better Normal Summon and your highest Scale.
Boosts ATK of your other "Solfachords".
ReSolfachord Dreamia (LEVEL 2 / SCALE 7)
⦁ Can be a
free body on the field.
⦁ She facilitates your Link plays and is a prime choice to turn Level 7 with Puzzlomino.
Can protect against effect destruction.
MiSolfachord Eliteia (LEVEL 3 / SCALE 6)
⦁
Bounces an opponent's Spell/Trap.
⦁ Not too vital, can help provide relief from problematic backrow.
Can prevent battle damage involving "Solfachords". As Angelia's target for easy access to Cutia or Gracia.
FaSolfachord Fancia (LEVEL 4 / SCALE 5)
⦁
Adds a "Solfachord" from Deck -> Extra Deck.
⦁ Another good normal summon; combo with the Harmonia field spell to act as a Deck -> Hand search that circumvents your opponent's Ash Blossom.
Can protect against battle destruction.
SolSolfachord Gracia (LEVEL 5 / SCALE 4)
⦁ The "Solfachord"
Spell/Trap searcher.
⦁ Since she is Level 5, you can't open with her, so she might be best at 1. She would be one of your top search targets if you're missing a Harmonia or Elegance.
Can block opponent monster effect activations while a "Solfachord" attacks.
LaSolfachord Angelia (LEVEL 6 / SCALE 3)
⦁
Tribute to summon a "Solfachord" from Deck, depending on Scale. (An ODD for nearest ODD; an EVEN for nearest EVEN.)
⦁ She's most likely just a Coolia in disguise.
Can block opponent Spell/Trap activations while a "Solfachord" attacks.
TiSolfachord Beautia (LEVEL 7 / SCALE 2)
⦁ Targets and flags a card to be
Banished when it leaves the field this turn.
⦁ Can see use for removing Effect Monsters (or Spell/Traps) that like to be in the GY right as they're about to leave. You'll mainly use her to access Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon (and thus Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon). Has a situational OPT start of Damage Step destruction.
DoSolfachord Coolia (LEVEL 8 / SCALE 1)
⦁
Targeting negation (up to 2) and
chains to destroy Effect Monster activations.
⦁ Useful for holding some problematic cards at bay, like as a potential floodgate relief. Her disruption is situational, so it's only an OK bonus. You'll want her as your low Scale if you don't have access to Gate Zero. Might be best at 2 so you can access her as both a Scale and as a Monster.
Solfachord Elegance
⦁ Mainly for
setting up your Scales. Have it at 3 since you'll want to open with these. The draw 2 effect is only a bonus.
Solfachord Harmonia
⦁
Recycles "Solfachords" from Extra Deck -> Hand.
⦁ Allows you to
Pendulum Summon Coolia.
⦁
Non-targeting destruction, if you have enough "Solfachords" out, is always great.
⦁ Can have it at 1, since it's searchable. But I like having 2 just in case something happens to one of them.
The Gate Zero Package
Supreme King Gate Zero
⦁ Allows you to
Pendulum Summon Cutea. Counts as an EVEN Scale.
Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm
⦁ GY effect means a
free body and searches Gate Zero.
Dragon Shrine
⦁ Option 1 for getting
Darkwurm into the GY.
Foolish Burial
⦁ Option 2 for getting
Darkwurm into the GY.
The Diviner Package
Diviner of the Herald
⦁ Diviner -> Trias -> Cutia
⦁ Your best Normal Summon since it means
2 bodies and a search. Run at 3. Occasionally grants access to Borreload Savage Dragon.
Trias Hierarchia
⦁ Your Diviner's main target to dump from Deck -> GY. You'll mostly be
Tributing only Diviner to trigger her effect, but there can be opportunities to take advantage of the additional Tribute effects.
The Mythical Beast Package
Mythical Beast Master Cerberus
⦁ The engine's starter towards a
free body and a potential
targeting Banish. Searches Jackal King which leads to getting this summoned from the Extra Deck.
Mythical Beast Jackal King
⦁ Destroys itself to
summon Master Cerberus.
Other
Protecting Spirit Loagaeth
⦁ Can easily proc off of Cutia/Diviner for an
extra body.
⦁ Free targeting
Banish.
⦁ Can overlay with Beautia to
Xyz Summon Absolute Dragon.
Harpie's Feather Duster
⦁
Anti-backrow. There are plenty of problematic Spells and Traps can shut down Pendulum strategies. Consider additional support by siding in Cosmic Cyclone.
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring + Infinite Impermanence
⦁
Simple disruption. You can replace these with traps of your liking instead. You'll likely be siding these out between games.
Extra Deck
GranSolfachord Musecia
⦁ The Link-2 you will want to make before you Pendulum Summon. She targets a Pendulum Summoned "Solfachord A" so you can
search for "Solfachord B", whose Level = Scale of "Solfachord A".
⦁ Cutia = Coolia, vice versa.
⦁ Dreamia = Beautia, vice versa.
⦁ Eliteia = Angelia, vice versa.
⦁ Fancia = Gracia, vice versa.
⦁ You can swap Pendulum Monsters between Hand <-> Extra Deck, too, I guess. ODD for EVEN, vice versa. Useful for recycling a destroyed Scale.
I:P Masquerena
⦁ Can
Link Summon on your opponent's Main Phase for disruption or to dodge 1 targeting effect.
⦁ Mainly to make a really tanky Avramax.
Cross-Sheep
⦁ Mainly to provide an
extra body while doing an Vortex Dragon play.
⦁ Best case, you'll have enough bodies to set up an Apollousa, as well.
Puzzlomino, the Drop-n-Deleter
⦁ Manipulate Levels for another way to
access Absolute Dragon.
Knightmare Phoenix
⦁ Backrow removal.
Knightmare Unicorn
⦁ Non-destruction removal.
Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax
⦁
Very tanky bruiser.
⦁ Gets over most problems through brute force, like Red-Eyes Black Dragoon, while protecting others from battle. Very difficult to remove if made with I:P Masquerena. Also, has a neat non-targeting shuffle -> Deck if something goes wrong.
Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess
⦁
Monster negates. Great to hold the line while going first before going on the offensive.
Borrelsword Dragon
⦁ Great for
finishing the game with double attacks.
Borreload Dragon
⦁ Can
steal problematic Monsters from your opponent.
Underworld Goddess of the Closed World
⦁ Great as
non-targeting removal when Link Summoning her.
Blocks off Special Summons from GY.
Borreload Savage Dragon
⦁
OPT omni-negate and a big body.
Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon
⦁ Access to
Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon.
Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon
⦁
OPT omni-negate, also it Bounces on summon.
Elder Entity N'tss
⦁ A target for Diviner's effect for a
targeting pop.
Side Deck
D.D. Crow
⦁ Don't like something in the
GY? Get rid of it.
Called by the Grave
⦁ Don't like something in the
GY? Get rid of it. Also,
anti-handtrap.
Dark Ruler No More
⦁ For
breaking boards with lots of negates.
Cosmic Cyclone
⦁ For additional
counters against backrow dependent decks.
Dimensional Barrier
⦁
Floodgates monsters except Links.
Solemn Judgment
⦁ Great for
protecting your board from Dark Ruler No More (and sometimes Forbidden Droplet) after going first.
