I decided to build my Gladiator Beast deck more slower because spamming Andals with Rescue Rabbit and unexpected Dais and doing the same combos is something I dont like. I love their artwork and concept that they only gain their effects when they are special summoned by the effect of another GB monster. You cant play GBs like in the 2008s however, it is possible with cards like Mystic Mine. Yes I know, Mystic Mine bad but you don't stall out your opponent to death in this deck and it is more being used as a dark ruler. Also, you have access to pop your own Mystic Mine with Gladiator Beast Gyzarus.

The Ancient Warrior Engine: Because this deck wants to go 2nd and because Ancient Warriors are my favorite Archetype in the history of Yugioh, I felt like that this is a good addition to Gladiator Beasts. You play
2x Guan Yun, who is bascially a Pankratops and
1x Lu Feng who is the Garnet of this deck, however it is not the end of the world if you draw him (similar to
speedroid taketomborg). Lu Feng is a free extender, as you want to search him with the link Monster
Double Dragon Lords, however if you end up on the link monster and Lu Feng (which is not hard at all) that is still a good board to end on. I didnt include cards like
Sun Mou because Gladiator Beasts need their normal summon.
Some cards I didnt include on purpose:
Gladiator Rejection: Bad if you draw multiple copies of, isn't searchable and wanted to play a more slower version so....
Gladiator Beast's Respite: Did include it in my deck, however the deck size with this card was at 42, so cutting all three of them cards and add an Upstart gets its job done, too.
Dark Ruler No More:
Defensive Tactics better than Dark Ruler ( no debating)
Gladiator Beast Andabata: Useless
Harpie's feather duster: Im budget friendly, also
Evenly Matched is already in the main
