Aside from not having handtraps, because they're filler and I hate them, I'm calling this deck meta. Engage and Multirole are fresh off the limited list, so yeah. This deck's gonna make a huge comeback, all due to the fact that it's getting new cards and an alt-art printing in Monstrous Revenge. Thanks, capitalism! Imagine the emotional damage this deck would do with Triple Tactics Thrust. There's plenty of flexy space for handtraps with some easy choices to replace, but I don't like being that meta, so you can figure it out on your own.
Camellia isn't out in the TCG yet, so sub her with a second Zeke. I maxed on Roze because Azalea, the new link that is out, requires 2 light/dark monsters to summon. I prefer her removal to Zeke's because she can target and destroy any card on summon and has non-targeting battle phase destruction. It seems to me that with the new main deck monsters, none of which are light/dark, you can either use their effects or quick-play spells on your opponent's turn, but not both until the monsters are gone. Flexibility, I guess, though I wish they'd written a way around it for the monsters since using them could technically slow the deck down. It's worth noting that even if you give control of Ciela to your opponent, her GY effect will activate for you. Akash gives battle protection and is a decent body to camp on the board. Himmel's the only new one I would say is a requirement because of that negate. It feels weird that there are no new spell cards, but after Linkage, I guess they don't need to do any more.
